Ernie doesn't have much to work with in the striking department, I expect he may go with this.......

Moss

Fenton, Siggy, Dura, Manny

Lia, Reira, Kenny

Stein, Hernandez, Brockie/Ifill

subs: Boyd, Hicks, Bertos, Ifill/Brockie, Italiano

Not sure what an injured Carlos is going to add but we really don't have any striking options around, I can't see what Bertos/Boyd will add if they were to start, neither are goal scorers....Ifill could start for Brockie which may liven things up but will he last more than 45 minutes? Hard to know.

I would remove Siggy and Dura, they are our weakness in defence. They are costing us goals with their mistakes

Putting Sunday games in Perth & Wellington on the same day is madness.

I think we'll win today. You just can't keep creating so many chances for the floodgates not to open. Main concern is Siggy's desire to play attractive football in his own penalty box. Just hoof the damn thing out of danger, like he used to do. Chesting down Xmas presents is doing my head in.

Today's the day we're due for a big one. Big win on the cards tonight surely. FIRE UP COYN!

Pains me to say it, but Boxall in for Sigmund please. Dura's form seems to have improved though which is encouraging.

Must be time for Brockie to have a sit on the bench and think about where he's going wrong. His confidence looks at rock bottom - you'd think he'd be putting himself about trying to be involved and make something happen, but he just seems to disappear even more.

A bit chillier today than it has been, so the footballing gods will grant us a big win so yf freeze their nipples off in the last 10 mins

sorry this may have been discussed at length somewhere but what is the idea behind such a late kickoff on a sunday?  i would have thought the normal 5pm on Sunday would have been better - Is there a reason behind this?  (does 5pm clash with another game?)

Id start boyd over brockie and see what he can do, atleast he gets stuck into the game. Considering Brockies form at the moment, boyd would do well to be worse.

Keep the faith. I'd be really worried if we weren't creating anything, but that is so not the case.

Just have to be so much more ruthless in front of goal, and really believe we can damage some of these sides by 3+. Just go for it, shoot on sight, don't try to walk the ball into the damn net. Always have felt Cunningham is the guy to spark this, but just have to get him into better positions.

Perth v Adelaide at 7pm Sydney time.

Not sure why that would make it so hard to schedule our game at say 3pm in Wgtn. Surely the broadcast doesn't need to be back to back? Or is it just to ensure Sydneysiders come home from a day of Christmas shopping in time to plon themselves in front of the telly?

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

TAB money's interesting. They're obviously wary of the Phoenix likely to break out in goals at some stage soon - just come in again at $2.20 on head to head. Have to say Sydney are good value for $3.30 though. They will expect to win today after watching the Xmas gifts our defence has been throwing around.

Its all about the broadcasting money.  To be honest as a Nix fan living in QLD the 5pm kickoff is great for our group of supporters

Take this with a grain of salt, but all the nix players have retreated into dressing rooms leaving caira, Boyd and Brockie.... Suited and watching the tee dubs from the side....

Edit: Brockie has just retreated down into the tunnel. But 5-10 mins after rest if team did.
