He was banned for 2 games. He should be back in the mix after this one.

Annoyingly going to miss this one as away for Xmas etc but back in time for the following week.

Making sure I'm back the afternoon of the 28th. Cant miss the chance to see us become the next 6th ranked side in the world.

Would like to have done the same but couldn't get it past the other half or respective families all outside Wellington. Made sure we're back in time for the 4th though!

WSW now able to fully focus on A-League.

Not missing this, hoping the Wanderers are still tired from the travel and unorganised from the swapping of players and we put a few past them. Wouldn't be surprised to see them beat us 1-0 though which will really annoy me!

Burns is with the Aussie team for this one.  They meet up on 27th Dec, so unless he is not selected (unlikely in his form) he won't play again before February, and I can just see him getting injured on international duty and being out for the season.  #ImAPessimist

Our game is on 2 Feb so he will be available. But guess he won't start.

I doubt that very few teams in the Asia Cup would be confident of making the final.

Actually they only need to make the semis given there is a 3/4 playoff.

Having him out will be massive blow...guess it open it up for Boyd but he didn't get any practise against SFC which surprised me so maybe not.

Yeah its holidays and I think more people leave Wellington than stay/come here. So am hoping we still get around 7k though with the results and some sunshine

Working christmas, working new year, but 2 days off in the middle to go large for this one. Can't wait!

Yeah its not as "kid" friendly but helps that most people will have the next day off.

Kids dont have to worry about school so they can stay up late for one day.

Looked at the fixture list and we've got 4 games in 11 days, 3 of which are home games. Could be a defining point in our season. I'd imagine Boyd and Kenny will both get a bit of game time. Burns away on Suckeroos duty is a big blow, and I think Krishna's reliance on sprinting means he seems to get fatigued relatively quickly. I wonder if Fenton might even get a run in the Burns/Krishna role and Boxall or JBS could come in at fullback. Either way, if we can continue our momentum through this period we'll be really well-placed for the rest of the season. Exciting times!
