A point here would be huge but I defense will need to tighten up a fair bit

Fuck this stupid game

Permalink Permalink

Why was it a definite yellow? It was a slip.

Should have keeped Hicks on he was doing a better job then what we are doing now

I assume he was injured/ I thought we were far better with him in there

Commentators said the word from the touchline was that he wasn't injured and it was a tactical switch

a lot of players slipping on this pitch

Permalink Permalink

That's Boyd's first ever right?

Permalink Permalink

Im totally mystified by the halftime change. It made us far worse.

Permalink Permalink

Surely Boyd should start ahead of Brockie next match on the basis of the last couple of performances from both of them?

probably after the game. This is Sydney

Sorry JV that wasn't a yellow for Brockie, he slipped and actually managed to pull his studs in so he didn't cop Covic with them. Ref got it wrong but might not have noticed the slip without the benefit of a replay

Boyd's first goal I reckon yes.

Almost identical to the goal v Heart, players involved swapping positions.

Yellow card. Page 117

“Careless” means that the player has shown a lack of attention or

consideration when making a challenge or that he acted without precaution.

• No further disciplinary sanction is needed if a foul is judged to be careless

“Reckless” means that the player has acted with complete disregard to the

danger to, or consequences for, his opponent.

• A player who plays in a reckless manner must be cautioned

“Using excessive force” means that the player has far exceeded the necessary

use of force and is in danger of injuring his opponent.

• A player who uses excessive force must be sent off
