Can someone give a list of all injured and suspended players for this game? I've been a bit out of the loop

Any prizes for picking the starting line-up:

My try:

Moss; Gulley, Doyle, Dura, Danaskos; Lia, Riera, Ridenton, Sarpong; Mikey, Powell.

(Sub Manny in for Doyle if available)

What's the odds of us signing an injury replacement starter before the 10th? Musa or someone like that left back we signed who did a job a season or two ago.

Heavy duty headgear, to show solidarity with Manny?

That team should get done. I would be keen to pick Fox  just to see what he is like. People who watch more domestic football than me will know whether or not he has the potential.

Sarpong is injured according to Ultimate A-league. Do we know that Krishna is out of this game? I would like to see something of Joel Stevens.

Moss
Gulley
Lia
Dura
Danoskos
Reira
Ridenton
Mikey
Powell
Appiah
Fenton if he is available or then someone like Stevens maybe?

Other option would be to play Doyle at CB and push Lia and then Mikey forward.

So what we have Manny out suspended it is assumed we just don't know for how many games.

Roly and Alex out for 5 yellow cards

Siggy, Sarpong and Fenton possible out with injuries.

Note: Dura and Lia are also on four yellows so one more and they will be out too.

is there a date when the card number is reset?  I recall someone talking about it but I might be barking up the wrong tree.

Till round 21 and then it is 8 Yellows even if player has served suspension for getting the 5.

"(a) from Round 1 to Round 21 of the Regular Season, five (5) Yellow Cards equates to a one (1) match suspension; and (b) irrespective of whether a Player has received a one (1) match suspension under clause 5.3(a), eight (8) Yellow Cards during the Regular Season equates to a one (1) match suspension. For every three (3) Yellow Cards thereafter, an additional one (1) match suspension."

Manny suspended for 2 weeks...

Permalink Permalink

"Tuesday, 5 January 2016 - Staff writer

"The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) - consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Contini and Alan Davidson - reconvened today to consider a Citation Incident involving Manny Muscat of Wellington Phoenix (the Player) which arose in or around the 58th minute of Wellington Phoenix’s Round 13 Hyundai A-League Match against Central Coast Mariners on Thursday, 31 December 2015.

The Player was cited by the MRP in accordance with the Hyundai A-League Disciplinary Regulations (Regulations). In reviewing the Citation Incident during this afternoon’s meeting, the MRP took into consideration all of the available evidence, including the submissions lodged by Wellington Phoenix on behalf of the Player.

The MRP determined that the Player committed the offence of R2 – Assault on a Player (e.g. violent conduct when not challenging for the ball) against Roy O’Donovan (Central Coast Mariners). The MRP proposed a sanction of the Mandatory Match suspension plus one (1) additional Hyundai A-League match, being the minimum sanction for the offence under the Regulations. This equates to two (2) Hyundai A-League matches."

Bugger, Patrick must be at Nix training. Just tweeted Siggy is out after re-injuring his hamstring.

Also Roy out for four weeks! I'm starting to feel like we are DOOMED!

He and Piney just tweeted Dylan Fox will play at CB this weekend, which more than confirms that doomed feeling.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
