Sounds like lucky dip game tonight with the rain and that. Was always gonna be a tight game anyway.

Hooper should come into his own in these condition. After plenty of seasons in Scotland he should be used to it.

A slippery/dodgy surface may mean Ball is ruled out completely? Risk of re aggravating his injury.

Expect plenty of minutes for Sutton again. Wilson to possibly debut off the pine.

Lets hope it isn't as bad as the great flooded game of 2015 (though if we get the same result I'd be OK)

I would play Ball in these conditions. His quick feet would be a big advantage

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Game day! Fire the fark up!

Let's get this 3 points and continue on our way. 2-0 Nix

2-1 nix but they score first. But I’ve bet on a draw so there’s our anti jinx , suuurely we don’t need an anti loss jinx...

Hoping to see some quality minutes out of Hooper and fingers crossed Ball is ready to go. The roar always seem to have a loud active supporters bay at home. I’ve never been there but I bet the atmosphere is pretty good.

Anyone know anywhere to watch the game there

Opposition teams now resorting to buying seasoned players just ahead of their games against us.  Desperate tactics.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Sounds like it's been raining all night in Brisbane and forecast to rain most of the day. Playing condition could well be wet and heavy under foot.

Quote from a roar forum.

The weather will come in to team selection now. It’s been raining hard pretty much all night (I’m 6km’s from the stadium and it’s taken a soaking) and will rain pretty much all day and through the match.

Anyone remembering that Roar rain game where they had to stop because the the pitch was unplayable. We had the lead and Durante was furious arguing with the referee because he didn’t knew that would automatically turn into win for use because it was beyond the 60 min.

Burns dancing through the whole Brisbane defense, good times!

Thank god, been trying for an hour to get Sky Go to work on a desktop with Chrome but it's Sky Gone. Even with "flash" enabled browser history cleared, logged out and in. Then it comes up with programme unavailable on all their channels. grrrrrr.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I thought they were only showing a few matches which was announced earlier in the season, but lately (at least the past month) they've been playing every match at a delayed time/or as a detailed highlights package. It was screened live when we played CCM the other week too. Very impressed with the coverage on FTA this season so far, although I do wonder, if our form wasn't that great, would it be getting so much coverage on a FTA agreement? Possibly not, but I hope they keep it up.

Haven't seen or heard anything by the way of an announcement for this though, so just take it week by week at the moment and long may the coverage continue!

actually think free per view is important for the nIx

Obviously increases exposure of the team and sponsors and these days there is fudge all other stuff to watch sports wise on free per view. Being there is a kind of monopoly

Keep it up nIx if you are responsible, it's a good thing

Looking good down this right hand side. Opening them up a little bit early on.

McCowatt good run down the middle of the park after coming in from the left and blazes one past the post. Possibly ahould have hit the target at least but great intent from the lad.

Already some very sweaty, uncomfortable looking players out there. Fitness is going to be an issue later in the 2nd half.

Steinmann with a bit of a harsh yellow card, and now gets a break next week - 5th yellow of the season.

The amount of space Brisbane allow is embarrassing, we need to seize the opportunity and make a statement here tonight! That means putting 3 or 4 past them

Feels like a one goal margin to me. They are finding a surprising amount of space in our midfield too.
