Likewise. Smash it along the deck hard instead, especially in the rain.

Just one of those games where nothing quite goes right.  Plenty of near chances - another day 3 or 4 could go in.

Edit: And some good keeping from Young

In real time that's no worse than what just went the other way.

Must be about 65% possession for us.

Hooper has lead the line really well today - sure he's ran out of puff end of the 1st but he's been bust and involved in almost everything.

Just missing some connection with Mcowatt and co.

I don't deserve to lose, but it's one of those days.  Can't fault the players effort.

V. Disappointing. Ultimately poor, that's three points given away, they finished, we didn't.

Best team lost today - bad day at the office for the boys.  Now lets go on another 9 match unbeaten run

We've done it to ourselves by not scoring a goal after having several good chances. Gutted but let's be honest you can't win them all can you and it's not like we played terribly and got smashed. Jamie Young has had a very good game and made a couple of great saves.
Hope Ball pulled up all right and that Cacace isn't injured

I blame Royz! Anyone else for a linch mob? Dont ever be positive again you anti jinks master

Ah well, had to come to an end eventually. Roar actually defended very well, rode their luck and got the points.

ah well we win ugly one week and lose ugly he next week that’s football for you!

Not too disheartened by this result as it could easily have went our way with a bit more luck.

However we do need to work on the final ball though as Hooper was a frustrated man when it came to some of the deliveries into the box, well done Brisbane for grinding that one out though.

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

27 is hardly heat.

27 and 77% humidity is pretty uncomfortable.

I guess the same in reverse  when the Roar have to play in 12 with a chill factor of 10. Although Auckland is  26 today. and Wellington 16.

So much for summer.

Pretty unlucky tonight. Bloody Jamie Young. Hooper lasted 90 min well done. Steinmann did well. Will miss him next week.
