Hooper has lead the line really well today - sure he's ran out of puff end of the 1st but he's been bust and involved in almost everything.

I don't deserve to lose, but it's one of those days.  Can't fault the players effort.

V. Disappointing. Ultimately poor, that's three points given away, they finished, we didn't. 

Best team lost today - bad day at the office for the boys.  Now lets go on another 9 match unbeaten run

We've done it to ourselves by not scoring a goal after having several good chances. Gutted but let's be honest you can't win them all can you and it's not like we played terribly and got smashed. Jamie Young has had a very good game and made a couple of great saves.

Ah well, had to come to an end eventually. Roar actually defended very well, rode their luck and got the points.

Not too disheartened by this result as it could easily have went our way with a bit more luck.

However we do need to work on the final ball though as Hooper was a frustrated man when it came to some of the deliveries into the box,well done Brisbane for grinding that one out though.

I guess the same in reverse  when the Roar have to play in 12 with a chill factor of 10. Although Auckland is  26 today. and Wellington 16. 

So much for summer. 

Let's hope both City & Perth lose to keep 2nd within our reach. Come on Newcastle!!

Pretty unlucky tonight. Bloody Jamie Young. Hooper lasted 90 min well done. Steinmann did well. Will miss him next week.
