I think his work ethic is quite good actually - I just don't think he's necessarily a huge athlete, not someone like Krishna who can sprint all game.

Our first goal against Victory (from the spilled catch) was pure Krishna.
Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days
Some of the other keepers or ex keepers on here might agree but I ,always used to fancy my chances as a keeper in a one on one situation. I'd think for a striker [or any outfielder] the pressure is on them to score is huge and if they know the keeper is coming the old pulse will be racing. I remember one game where my theory was severed shattered, Gary Pattison [I think his name was] from Stop Out left me holding my dick in my hand as he stopped, casually dribbled around me and slotted the ball home. I could only stand up and applaud.
Garry Paddison was a very good 'finisher" Who were you playing for at the time?

My arm was cramping up so bad from all the drumming in the last 10 minutes, I was in lots of pain but had to keep going until the big finish. Anyone got any tips how to keep the arm going through long repetitive motions?
Nightly practice?
Be interesting if he can take a pen, otherwise we might call him Brockie 2.0, score the hard goals, miss the easy ones.

Use your wrists as opposed to your arms. No 1980's exaggerated arm movements!!

Chatham Cup game in mid 70s?
Wikipedia informs me that Leopard U never faced Stop Out in the Chatham Cup. Amazing that I can just find that out.
Ramming liberal dribble down your throat since 2009
This forum needs less angst and more Kate Bush threads
I think he means Napier which was probably sponsored by Leopard breweries.
Leopard lager, almost as bad as Lion Red or Lion Brown. but not quite.
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
