tbh, this is not worth debating. The most obvious choice is Wilson and TAWH will be on the bench.

I'll bet you my lunch on Friday that you're wrong.

Brandon Wilson has played nearly 50 A-League games during his time at a pretty good Perth side. Unless he's not fully ingrained in the squad, I'd expect him to start.

His Handy Prem run was the first time in months he has kicked a ball in anger. Expecting him to slot straight into a new system without much of a run for the WeeNix is a recipe for disaster. Gotta show some faith in TAHW, who knows the system

Fell like we are going to regret not signing more cover, Lia would have been a nice bench player but does not fill the recuitment requirements

Oh well its was good while it lasted, we cant be a top 6 side forever. At least we had a good run, maybe when Fenton returns we can push on again for wins against the likes of Jets and Roar.

Are you more or less sure than when you told us Rojas was rocking up to training this week?

Did I ever say that he came to training? Check that again. I said the Phoenix were reportedly in the mix according to DailyOz football.

Yes I may have said that, but never mentioned that "Rojas was rocking up to training". Nevertheless maybe coz I forgot to put in the source.

Do any Feverites know 10 11-16 year olds who could act as flag bearers on Friday night? (Prematch)

Please email me by lunchtime today so I can sort this out with the club. Tracey @ yellowfever.co.nz

Think some of you are forgetting when Libby arrived on the scene he wasn't the footballer he know is. He was given a fair crack at it something some of dont seem prepared to give some other players. Yes he had shown plenty of potential just seems as some players get given an easier ride on here than others.

and some of those who bag players don’t have a bloody clue.

Christchurch based fans.

After an awesome turn out last week, we will be heading to Robbies Riccarton again tonight. 7:15 kick off.

All welcome.

My vocal chords have barely recovered from that miss by Waine against Brisbane, so (bonus alert) I may hopefully be almost silent this time.

And they have Tuatara Cloudy IPA on tap at Robbies, against all odds. Who knew.

I’ve just bet on Newcastle, happiness insurance. Suuurely we win and it’s not a stinkin’ draw.
Interested to see if Ball starts and how they’ll reorganise around Steinmann’s suspension. Keen to see Wilson but not sure how he’ll fit in.

With the disruptions to our mid field, for me  Petratos stands out as the danger player for the Jets. I'm expecting to see him fire off a few so hope Marinovic has a good game, as the Jets seem to get plenty of shots on target but usually not high quality shots.

Piscopo will be back after this game so McCowatt gets another chance to cement his place in the starting XI. He's been good but not spectacular. Thought he played really well last week unlucky not to register a few assists. Would like to see him get a goal and an assist to keep the competition for places up there.

I'm sure Hopper will be better for a 90min outing last week. The more temperate Wgtn conditions will suit him. Looking for him to step things up a notch this week.

Excited for this one. COYN.

2-1 win, Sotirio and Hooper with a goal a piece. Sotirio's been close a few times since his last goal, and well Hooper just pops up in the right place and right time and will get a tap in.

Steinmann is a huge, huge loss. We'll see tonight how much of the dirty work he does which often goes unseen.

Will be interesting to see how we cope.

I expect a concerted push through the middle by the Jets. Although Dimi Petratos has been less than effective this season, him and Fitzgerald can still hurt the opposing team. Boogard and Topor Stanley will be their usual muscular self, pushing anyone of slight build off the ball.

Hope for us to get on the scoreboard in the first half after the fizzle of our last game.  Steinmann is a loss but can be offset if Ball has recovered and plays to his potential. This would make the Jets wary of a counter.  But if our attack is limp then it will be a long day for DeVere and Taylor.

A 10k crowd would be pretty awesome, however a win of the jets would be better. Having both would be super! and I wouldn't haver to be so miserable. COYN!
