Did anyone else notice how Roly got given a free kick every time he went down yet that never happened when he played for the Nix where he got chopped down every week.

on the flip side he got a free kick given against him when Ridenton stood on the ball and fell into Roly and took him out but somehow won the free kick.  There is no agenda just shark refereeing.

Does anyone know an official crowd figure?

Another positive stat: we've scored at every home game this season.

Still happy with a good game, that we can and will build on

A-League website says 5,634.

Dat Ridenton decision making though.

One season he played for us, he was the most fouled player in the league. He gets a lot of fouls because he turns into players a lot.

The Sky commentators [Piney] said he still was the most fouled player in the A League.

Dude we got so many free kicks when Roly played for us. To say that we never got a free kick when he went down for us is wildly incorrect. He was one of the most fouled players in the A-league when he played for the Phoenix

Watched the replay last night and fudge knows how Bonevacia got MOM. Reeked of a decision made based on stats. 1000 passes, almost all backwards. Durante and Thwaite were far better.

Not a bad effort all in all. Disappointed with the result obviously, but happy with our attitude and sense of urgency. Shame decision making isn't always up to scratch (and not just Riddenton's) and that we aren't able to kill games yet. Hopefully Burns and Ljujic continue to progress athletically speaking and bring that X factor in front of goal. AK is bound to start scoring again surely, he's been a tad unlucky of late - and he's made some pretty poor decisions in front of goal, but we know he has it in him to get another 6-7 goals before the season is over.

He got free kicks. It was just frustrating the players fouling him never received cards, so it became a legitimate tactic to kick him off the park.

Thwaite was immense for them.  Seemed to pop up at nearly every crucial moment to cut out our attacks.

Yep and then he'd get carded for the first foul he committed after being clattered 3 or 4 times.

Even the WSW fans were bagging him on reddit

All season our starting line up has been ok. But our bench has been so poor.

Often we would take the lead, but then struggle to hold on.

Oh how the tides have turned, 2 signings and Krishna back and suddenly we are a lot more threatenning at the end of games.

Exciting times ahead, I think we will likely finish 8th. But the top 6 should still be the teams aim.

Ducking from the inevitable anger for saying this, but that word always seems to be used with a racist connotation in sports.

Playing two games in three days after coming off a lengthy injury would make you look pretty tired too.

Krishna is literally the least "lazy" player in the team.

Half the bunch of fuccks on the FB group are total sharkhead casual fans though. You know the ones, the ones that only watch goal highlights and don't really know anything about football. Genuinely angers me so much that someone could think that any argument based on ROy being lazy is feasible. If Krishna is lazy then what in gods name was Finkler

It's really weird but I have posted two fairly snarky tweets bagging Finkler (latest "Burns has done more in half a game than Finkler did in one and a half seasons")  and he has "liked" both of them...

Will be Finkler, he has been doing that for awhile. No idea why he would care what fans think, it sure as heck didn't motivate him

Seemed fairly happy when he was scoring goals

That all changes when we start to string a few wins together. How hard can it be?

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.
