Nervy times.

Their midfield is bossing ours, the way used to do to teams before the asian cup break.

Gerrard is that you?

Every time fenton cuts in. It compresses their defence which makes it easier for them to defend and block shots. It can be a good tactic but he needs to vary it.

New to this forum but been watching the Phoenix for a long time.  Just reading the stuff article at the beginning as to Tyler Boyd maybe leaving - think its a bit of a shame if he does - don't understand why they would want to keep someone like Lia but let Boyd go, sorry but not a Lia fan.

Obviously it's because no-one else wants Lia!

Probably because Boyd and Lia are competing for completely different positions. Unless you think Boyd deserves a go slotting in at DM.

A-rods gotta start taking the dead balls. Anyone remember how lethal with them in pre-season? Every single time I've seen him take one its been pinpoint and yet we do't use him at all.

Two completely different games going on here - us playing along the ground "through" the defence, their aerial target-man game. Citeh have looked dangerous with long balls hanging up into the breeze, which they won't get in the second half. As long as Riera can stop doing those silly passes to the opposition, I am still backing our lads.

Interesting to see how we play against the wind. City were the better side in the first half and could have had a couple.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

The ground looks great and the crowd are loud as anything, anyway.

We are lucky to still be in this. MC are winning all the 50/50 ball and have completely out-muscled us.

the person who ordered so few portaloos should be sacked thou. The queue is beyond ludicrous.

To be honest there is great potential but crowd feels flat. Stick by the needs a roof comment - noise is going upwards and lost

Don't really mean the two players contesting for the same position - i just think its a shame that a young talent like Boyd may go elsewhere, just liked what i saw in him.

Someone better film this match so they can play it back to fenton

Although I was right that we'd be much better playing into the wind, I've got a nasty feeling that those people who say "the Aussie teams have worked us out" might be right. How is it that these people can mark Burns, Krishna, Bonevacia so tightly when they couldn't before the AFC break?

Maan, every time boxall plays. I think he could become a stalwart of the club if siggy wasn't at the club.

I agree,  I think the club should try to keep him,  I see him as a future Captain of the team
