Typical Doyle losing his man. You can't have Kurto save your ass and then defend like that.

We missed our chance, and are paying the price. Can't see a way back now.

this is why doyle should not be starting at CB for us.

Kopa does not look comfortable in midfield - I really think he found his niche at LCB

and yet Rudan signed two defensive players, clearly suggesting he wants Kopa to be playing in the mids

Gulley is RCB/RWB , right? Agree that Golec makes no sense.

yeah, Gulley made sense, the golec signing for me was odd.

Damn, Castro making doyle and co look blind.

That first bit of play by Castro was *chefs kiss* beautiful.

That is what we're competing against long term if we want to be at the top. Singh is great, but he's no Castro. He doesn't scare teams.

Doyle/Cacace is such a weak leak defensively, gets shown up every game. I like Cacace, but he needs better cover beside him.

the difference between the libby/doyle and libby/kopy combos is massive. I think it largely comes down to a lack of communication from doyle. Libby is young and is still learning his trade so must need a little bit of guidance.

Mandi has his weaknesses but he always presents for the ball and is willing to take it no matter where he is - Kopa is scared of the ball. Rufer isn't, but he doesn't have the technical ability required to keep it every time.

Dont get this thought he looked good there and seemed to link well. So over the half dozen passes at the back then the launch up field for our short guys to win it in the air.

Ridiculous defending. Davidson had all the time in the world to cross. Disappointing. that's just poor communcation, poor structure. Kopa very lazy ,just walking aimlessly around

ABC Sports Radio says Fenton is "almost  invisible tonight"

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Permalink Permalink

hasn't had a lot of ball sent his way, hes not had a lot of defensive work to do as it mainly comes from Castro who attacks a lot from the left.

We need to attack down the right, all of Glory's attacks are coming down the left and Cacace is being found high up the field, allowing Castro a lot of space..

Player has a shark touch, Doyle has a chance to win the ball back - instead backs off and lets an easy shot in. Why?

I reckon libby plays so high and wide primarily cos doyle plays really wide for a CB, Libby has to go high unless he wants to playing of the pitch.

The ref is giving them every little thing and we are getting nothing. Less than ideal.

Both other games tonight the team two goals down at half-time has won, so it's looking perfect for us so far.

Don't think it really matters what the ref is doing when we're playing like this
