Looking forward to finally seeing the boys in action live, it's been too long (I know, I know). I'm pretty confident of a win this week,

It looks like a game that will pretty much define season this one. We're in NZ, we've found some form, have a full squad to choose from, we're closing in on a permanent spot in the top-six, and we need to beat one of the league's most high profile sides who aren't doing as well as they'd expect.

Personally, if we don't win on Saturday then my hopes for a successful season, with finals footy at the end of it, will take a big hit.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

Mitch Nichols has been left out of the squad. That is a big out for WSW.

All sorted for the long weekend - Really looking forward to the road trip up to New Plymouth, the pre-game drinks, the game Vs WSW, the post-game drinks, the Festival Of Lights on Sunday night and the road trip back to Welly on Mondy, just in time for the Super Bowl!

Wanted to get tickets in the Fever zone, but only "Gold Fever Zone" tickets left. Silver all sold out. The gold go for $31 a seat. Sadly I have had to opt for general admission at $17 each for my group. Hope we can get to be near the silver fever zoneites!

Silver is only the two rows at the front of the bay. The rest is gold, which is ridiculous. Fever Zone has always been Silver.

Ideally we are all just going to pile into the Zone anyway so you should probably be able to sneak in with us.

The phoenix need 11 wins and 7 draws to get to 40 pts and the top six. Currently they are 5 and 4 basically halfway to both targets but with only 10 games to go. They'll have to win at least half of their remaining games to make the playoffs. Looks like another season over. Kosta's poor form the main reason for this years failure along with no holding mid. A-Rod needs to be gone.

This will be the start of our unbeaten run to the finals. Fire up! 3:1 for us Krishna, Smeltz, Kosta

Smeltz needs to score tonight. Or at least an assist.
