probably one of the fastest in the league. He might try and fail but that is better than not trying at all.

Was the video trying to pick his worst moments? Or typical ones?

I think that's all of them.

No Alex Jones this weekend, even if he arrives on time. Ernie also hinted that Manny might lose his spot at the back, as Fox and the two wing backs have been playing well.

So Manny not considered a FB anymore?

Edit: A spot open for him at DM without Riera and Lia?

If the club are smart, they could get Jones out onto the field and introduce him before kick off or half time.

Remember we're playing for the prestigious "Long Distance Derby Cup" this weekend.

And we've got a 1-0 lead! We can get a trophy! A TROPHY!

Permalink Permalink

I foresee an awkward trophy presentation where the team reluctantly pretend to care about winning the trophy, and fans have already left.

Derby game, trophy on the line, long weekend, good weather forecast. Expect this one to sellout!

season effectively over, more shuffling the players around, new star not playing, Perth, cricket ODI day before(no double header marketing).  Expect this one to sellout!.

Excellent to see Ernie spotlighting the subjective factor in shark performances: these aren't shark players, they're good players with "don't really care about scoring" attitudes.

Maybe they'd care if there was a decent $$$ scoring bonus [sponsors plz - Calendar Girls, Il Bordello...]

Was a bit surprised to see those comments from Ernie, seems a bit out of character. Hopefully a bit of the ol' hairdryer treatment might motivate our team

Head towards downtown Wellington and go into the big building on your right! No, not that building, that is Parliament, I mean the one with the flat roof.

So, I am breaking every single one of my match day Superstitions.  I'm shaving, I've changed my match day shirt, I'm wearing the same colour socks, I'm wearing a different Nix jacket, and I'm even changing the hat which I've worn for seasons.  Hopefully, this will make the difference and we get a win.

I thought it was quite funny from the perspective that it does show that those calling for him to start have zero clue what they are on about.

Or it shows how thin our squad is.  Especially in terms of attacking options.
