He has played 5min since that WSW game, a sub appearance in Akl in our last win.

I reckon we will push Fenton into midfield for Riera, Muscat switching to RB and Dura partnering Fox in the middle of defence for this game.

Alex Jones on the bench? In the article he said he hoped to be here for the game. Will be all jet lagged to hell though.

Is Danaskos injured or just out of the mix?

With Ridenton/Gulley/Doyle/Fenton, and now McGarry too where is he? We were all raving about him a month or so ago.

He was on the bench. Doyle has been good the last couple weeks, guess he has come back into favour due to his efforts.

It'll just be nice to have a proper home game. Only had one in the last six weeks or so, gagging for a Fritz.

Shows what competition for spots does, Doyle has been so much better these past two weeks than earlier in the season. Hopefully Danaskos and Doyle keep pushing each other.

Vaso or deep heat Patrick?  Another result like last week and I'm guessing the latter.

Vaso all the way.

Loks like icepack situation to me.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I thought this game was at the RoF but all this talk of lube and icepacks makes it sound more like an away trip to the Glory hole

I'm actually irrationally confident about this game. I reckon we'll sneak a hard fought winner in the last 10 mins

We will have to be a lot better than last week as Perth are not a bad side, although away from home they struggle.

oh yeah, my head says there's no way we can win given the way both teams have been playing. But for some reason, the heart doesn't agree

My heart agrees but my head is staying neutral.

haha- I forgot last season- in the goal-scoring department we had Brockie, Burns, McGlinchey, Bonevacia, Krishna, Cunningham, Boyd. and Griffiths. 8 legitimate forwards (if not strikers). We have lost 5 of those and one is injured.

and chipping in Manny, Boxall, Dura and Hicks

We've picked up Jones, but we still need a fair bit more I'd say...

Here's the memories:

Stephens, McG, Bonevacia and Jones? Something of a start perhaps. I'd even be happy with Totori. I'm sure Ernie'd get something out of him. How limber is Leo B? I'm sure he'd still have the technique for it. Guest spot for Leo Bertos!

Roly also looked good last season, cos he had Burns, Krishna and McG dragging defenders all over the shop, not just us passing to him and hoping he'd win us the game.

Love the step overs allowing the ball to cross the goal line. Pretty good trick he does. Shame it is not done in front of the actual goalmouth.
