Were people on here really bagging Powell? I don't read everything but I thought the general consensus was that he was a decent striker and our build up play was letting him down. Powell has received fantastic service today from Doyle of all people (who I did not expect to play like this).
Doyle can play a creative pass. So can Hicks and McGarry. Ride tons ball for Powells third was good vision.

I don't think Redmayne was at fault for the third goal, but definitely for the first. Something my coaches have always hammered into my brain meats is that you come off your line, or you don't come off your line, but you NEVER start then pull out.
lets big it up for powell though, plenty of strikers would have come away with no goals from those chances. Pleased for him, he aint a bad player.
