During that first 30 i was wondering how, having have let hernandez and husygems go, our pressing is not as good as last season and then don't have them to maintain possession further up the pitch. Better end to the half.
Also, kinda wish we had Ridenton on the bench or even Hicks for Rod. I do think he has promise but he's just not showing anything at the moment - it's likely a problem with how our midfield 3 is set up - to me it looks like he doesn't really know where he needs to be playing - but we can't carry a passenger.

Yeah, frankly amazing. Our defence is a mess, distribution in midfield has been underwhelming and we have a lame duck striker. Mind you, CCM also seem a little mentally fragile.

Doyle - rookie mistake. 2nd pro game, you'll learn from that. As much as most YF fans want to hang you, understand that you need to grow from it.
Bonevacia - more impact that last week. Fucking lightening quick feet.
Same 3 players from last week (Riera, McGlinchey, Burns) have stepped up this week. I think I want to see McGlinchey a bit more central so he is on the ball more and can link with Burns (assuming there is no sub coming)
Subs - I would would pull the trigger on Brockie now. If you have a striker that has missed a pen, you know its on his mind. Pull him so he does not need to play with it on his mind.

Midfield 3 not working right now. We need to go to a more conventional 4-2-3-1 but Rodriquez probably doesn't warrant a place in that. Bonevacia looks really good though.

1. No one wants to hang Doyle. Mistakes are normal when he came from a low level with not much experience.
2. Roly played very similar last week.
