If you think this is bad don't look at the cricket!

Why is Watson running at the ref there? We got the freekick...

He is obviously not learning.

I thought this was bad, but then saw the cricket.

Bad tempered prediction: Finkler wont score from a single free kick this season.

right now I'd settle for a sympathy goal - like when it's the captain's final game and his kid gets to play

I thought that but wondered if I was going mental - didn't he get booked for kicking the ball away?

He did. 34th min.

A League web site shows two cards and a red for him

Are we playing 10?

These set pieces have been beyond disappointing.

I took a multi on Friday - Breakers, Kiwis, Phoenix, Black Caps.  Anyone know if it has come in?

I like the look of Rossi. This referee, however, seems a touch inadequate.

Good turn and cros Watson, need to do better Krishan

great save, not sure why the shortest man on the field is getting a header from a cross by the tallest though.

Oh FFS my old granny could've put that away.

I think the Ref has been fine, no issues with the pens and has given cards when deserved. The only mistake was Lia's yellow and he got nothing from the linesman.

At least Auckland City have lost. It would be awesome to have a competitive league this year.

not sure there was enough contact to justify a penalty for the first, and the second was as awful call.

The dive from Keogh and the card for Rossi? Hmmmm. His lino fudgeed him on the Rossi card and shoulda helped him on the Keogh dive

The last thing we should be doing right now is bitching about the ref.  He has been the least of our problems tonight.  Despite the introduction of the internationals very little has changed in our offensive pattern from last week.  If anything, it has been even more ineffective.

The ref got easily persuaded by the local home crowd. You can tell it's his first match. If Glory hadn't had that penalty the result could've been completely different — the best refs don't have a negative influence.

It is completely ridiculous to assume referees are always going to be able to spot dives.

The ref got persuaded to correctly give the penalty.
