Phoenix just lack quality. No idea in the final third. Players like Krishna, McGlinchey are good players who don't deliver regularly.

Reckon our problem starts at the back. Our forward line is good enough; just barely have had the ball in good positions. Krishna has to drop into the middle of the park just to get a touch.

For all this talk of better stucutre, I still feel like a lot of players are probably out of position.

I think all round it's just a bit, well, crap. It's not okay for someone like Krishna to have 10 heavy touches that go nowhere every week. (Sorry to pick on Roy but he just lost the ball... hah). And by extension yes, it's not okay for the midfield to have 50% pass completion rate. It's not okay for every through ball to be over hit. Just a lack of standards.

Doyle should not be in the middle. He's all over the show

Think you're overreacting. I don't think our forward line has done anything wrong tonight except for the poor shot/cross by Ridenton. We're just struggling to build a base - there is a big gap between defence and midfield which means it's tough to build a platform to go forward.

Agreed. Strong in the air, but his positioning is terrible. I think that is a general problem with him , though, and he also gets caught out at full back. Just poor spacial awareness.

Hopefully the coach sorts out that left back position at half time!

a few positive signs. Doesn't look like our goals are going to come from sweeping counters on the main. Good strike.

Are Zullo and Ninkovic twins?

Or are the cameramen and/or commentators confused?

We're still in this!

Defence needs to be sorted though, soft for their goals after a pretty even first 20 odd minutes.

Is Rossi injured or was he dropped?

Sort the backline out - Mullen to CB, Doyle to LB and Galloway to RB

Valeo has something which I agree with - the back 4 seem disorganised. Why is this? Is it:

1: players out of position? Reshuffle Galloway to RB and everyone shuffles to the left one spot? It worked last week.

2: keeper organising back 4 (not likely but can’t rule it out)

3: players stinking up the joint

I would rocket Ridenton because I don’t think he gives enough. Too slow on the ball and a flapping gate off it. Last week it was ‘Rufer didn’t do this so Ridenton....’ there is no Rufer this week so where is the excuse? Yes Sydney is good but it’s much the same from him as last week.

Sydney use the 2nd runner off the target person very very well and we have been sucked into it every time. Paracki probably needs to sit a little snug in front of the two CBs more to screen that. That’s were they have caused us the most issue - through the middle

Paracki has failed to track a couple runs now from the middle - needs to follow his player. He has to take some of the blame for that.

. His piss poor pass to left resulted in us losing the ball and resulting in the first goal

Ridenton never looks like he's working that hard - i'm sure its not the case, he just never looks exhausted... no doubt with the heart monitors they have now it can't be the case... but show some urgency or at least grimmace for me a little bit!

I think one of the problems is Paracki is getting sucked into covering either the fullback (left side) or Doyle if he is covering Galloway - so that then needs Ridenton to sit in and cover the hole but dosn't seem to be doing it.

I think if we can fix Galloway then the rest should look better.

How did Zulu have so much space for that shot? Then how the fudge are four Sydney players on the edge of the box completely unmarked?

Crazy stuff.

Doyle has to hoof it there cause Durante gives it to him up against the touch line and a smurf up him bum on the inside. We could have made a smarter choice there from Durante
