From 70' on each week we are such a dangerous side. Griff & Neymar Burns went so close to each having a second. Another great win.

How's Ernie's tactics now, Doloras?

Very good in this game, and a good call to sub on Lia. As I say, I apologise for being mistaken about what was happening in midfield.

On the other hand, it wasn't too long ago before we got humped by WSW and narrowly took a point off the Jest. We're not consistent enough yet for my comfort.

It's win-win for me. We took three points and I learnt who Anita Sarkeesian is. She could hammer me with her feminist ideology any day of the week!

Looks like I gave Adelaide too much credit. Absolutely fudgeing pissing down at Woburn station. The weather gods were good to us today. Great result, peaking!

Steve-O says many more stupid negative things than me and he's treated with affection rather than contempt and continuous demands to shut up.  AJ13 seems to agree with my assumption and no-one's being all like "load of crap as usual" at him, which is the second time I've gotten that in two different threads. At least I am not being asked to make anyone a sandwich.

The point is precisely that, we are 0-0 after a half with the wind at home in a must-win game if we are to have any real hope of a top-2 finish. Dewhurst is not shutting up about how Adelaide are pushing us around in the midfield. This after only just scraping a draw our last home game with the Jest, the scum of the league. I am seeing nothing which makes me think that Merrick is anything special, that any anonymous coach (goddamn Miron Bleiberg) could be doing.

But yeah. Some posters I seem to really infuriate for expressing opinions not much different from other posters. I wonder why.

No Steve-O gets ridiculed for only posting when we lose.

Now that they have had 3 games in a close knit ground. What do people prefer the Cake Tin or the Wreck?

Loving this

This is a thing of great beauty.....I just told my missus I am going to get it tattooed on my chest above my heart. She replied " why don't you grow up"  Some people just don't get it!!!!!!!!!

That move near the end where the build up included two back heels and Burnsy just flashed the shot wide...was pure poetry

So happy to be a Nix fan...the wilderness years seem such a long time ago.

There's a bloody roof on it.

and you don't need to stand half the time to see the other end a bit from the sideline seats

if they made it permanent would want steeper stands (sim YF zone) and bottom seats starting higher.

but other than that (and the roof and the less preferred transport) it's a peach

Strange game - each half dominated by the team playing into the wind. Both teams played poorly with the wind, too many through balls instead of keeping it on the deck and playing wide.

I thought both Boxall and Fenton were excellent and Ernie's subs were spot on - both Krishna and McGlinchy had quiet games.

Conditions considering good croud and yellow fever in fine voice.

I'll miss the wreck - love being so close to the action.

Top of the league, heady days.

Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we are a second half team (makes for a nervous first half. But the Nix have now outscored their opponents 28-12 in second halves this season.

7800. Pretty decent considering the amount of pussies who dropped their sacks at the last minute due to weather

I felt this was a positive move from Ernie.  I said to Jnrette that with WeeMac off, Roly would move forward and that worked a treat last week.

Hope security are able to identify the dickhead standing at the back of the fever zone who unloaded beer on the caterers below. He should of been kicked out for that but more so for the fact he wasted good beer.Hopefully some of the good croud shots will enable him to be idenfified.

What I heard on Twitter, it was a coke can and the Baxter staff came into the Fever Zone and laid punches into Brendon!

Never saw that but a baxters guy did go into the stand with a red badge guy trying to find who was responsible for it.

Great result, and very lucky with the weather mostly holding off until after the game. Was pretty horrendous on the way home. Somehow made it back to Johnsonville, basically without being able to see where we were going it was so heavy.
