Last Wellington game of the season. Then the painfully long offseason wait for the next game in Wellington...

Allegedly

Rumour is we can add Tando and Rossi to the out list along with Lowry, Mullen, Rufer, Ridenton, Doyle, Singh, McGlinchey, Krishna. Probably a cloud over Galloway who was replaced injured last week and Dura who didn't play.

Bring your boots.

What's happened to Tando?

Talk in Auckland on Sunday (unconfirmed) was that he was in a moonboot.  Sauce is reliable though.

So by my calculations - assuming only players from first team squad, I don't think McGarry will start:

Lewis Italiano

Scott Galloway (hope he's over whatever had him come of injured last week)

Dylan Fox
Andrew Durante (hope he's over whatever put him out last week)
Liberato Cacace

Goran Paracki
James McGarry
Matija Ljujić

Andrija Kaluđerović
Adam Parkhouse
Nathan Burns

Oliver Sail/Keegan Smith
Logan Rogerson
Monty Patterson

Have two keepers on the bench, and if needed have one play CF for final 5. See if we can scrounge a goal there... Sail is nearly 6ft 5 ;)

I think it adds an element of interest to an already pretty fudgeed season.  Particularly Harris who we haven't seen all summer due to international Under-18 rules.

The offseason can't be more painful than the actual season.

+There will be a month of World Cup.

He was Australian... so he's a kiwi now?

The only positive of this season is the act the youth are getting a go and look largely up to it... my only issue is, the moment they play, the states is off the table which is a big gamble for these kids who realisitically are only getting a run because no one else is around.

If it rains on the way to WestPac we could come home with a wet Sail

Looks like we're going to be fielding a team of "castaways" as a result of the meaningless friendly and FFA intelligence.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

due to FFA rules which have age restrictions on imports, it effectively means he can't play

Think Ebbinge got a day or two off after captaining the U17s to their win in Auckland but is in the frame for this weekend as well.

Updated from yesterday (Confirmed no Tando and probably no Galloway and who it looks like the WelNix players will be).

I reckon it's either:

Lewis Italiano

Dylan Fox
Goran Paracki
Andrew Durante (hope he's over whatever put him out last week)
Liberato Cacace

Ollie Whyte
James McGarry
Matija Ljujić

Andrija Kaluđerović
Adam Parkhouse
Nathan Burns

Subs:
Oliver Sail/Keegan Smith
Logan Rogerson
Monty Patterson
Willem Ebbinge
Sam Phillip

or:

Lewis Italiano

Sam Phillip
Dylan Fox
Andrew Durante (hope he's over whatever put him out last week)
Liberato Cacace

Goran Paracki
James McGarry
Matija Ljujić

Andrija Kaluđerović
Adam Parkhouse
Nathan Burns

Subs:
Oliver Sail/Keegan Smith
Logan Rogerson
Monty Patterson
Willem Ebbinge
Ollie Whyte

I reckon that seeing as Italiano has been on the bench for the two games under Greenie that he'll keep.

A good chance Whyte starts ahead of McGarry.

Another option might be McGarry at full back and Libby in midfield.

I'll be very pissed off if we start him. Maybe he's next best after Tando, I don't know. But he's 100% not going to be around next season, so give I think give the opportunity to Sail

Calvin Harris is from Hong Kong, so had to be 18yrs old to register with the Nix for the reasons mentioned previously but I guess he hasn't got his citizenship yet, so doesn't count as a Kiwi.

After the Roar signed some young visa players that barely played, the FFA put in rules to have a minimum age for visa signings. CCM tried to loan in a visa signing from Everton previously and were denied because he was a visa and too young. So that rules out him signing as an injury replacement for Rossi.

Is Rossi in line to play at all? I know he was at QBE, but apparently injured. If he is available, id like him back with Dura(or Fox) and Paracki anchoring the midfield.
