It is doom and gloom. The start of the season was poor and this end to the season has been absolutely woeful.

We continue with the spine of a team that has not reached the second stage of the finals in 4 years.

Time for a change as said players aren't going to get any better, and are clearly getting worse.

We could yet finish bottom again FFS!

If we had the resources, I'd go with the recruiting basically an entirely new squad. Wont or cant happen of course but yes, our defence is slow and gaining in years. I'd stick with Boxall as an rb and move fenton back to his normal position. Although Moss has done ok, I still think we could or should get a better keeper. Timmins at lb , Riera in midfield with Hicks who needs to do some weight training and stop getting pushed around. Carlos has a year to go. I think Leo and Ifill can be cut loose too. Ages and injury in Ifill's case. Keep him as a coach though. Stein and Brockie can go and invest in  another pair like Ifill and Greenacre were.

Ridenton, fenton, hicks are young enough to get better and I think with a season behind them, they will. Same too for Boyd whom I think will be a real goalscorer next season. Put some weight training to give him strength and he'd be great. Has so manY skills and speed. 

Now I know why Gary Phillips sounds like he's been at the helium. Bit hard to talk properly when your mouth's full of ADP's knob

How is it that people can still find angst after that? I gave up being angry about our predicament in Newcastle. For me we were gone after the pumping that Heart gave us, subsequent bummings have just been expected.

If anything, this season has highlighted our need for a reserve/youth team who are playing regular competitive football and if getting bummed a few times is what it takes for that to actually happen then the bumming was worth it!
