To be honest we could have Collina...without VAR it's back to 2010, all the contentious calls will go against us. I'm with Royz tonight!

Kilkenny is suspect iirc from previous discussion. Hooper says it's his birth year.

Think he's gotta pull back a bit if the magic touch isn't quite there and play others in perhaps.

Perth aren't stupid. They saw he was our best player last game and put 2 men to tightly mark him. He probably won't be able to do much because of that tonight

what a ball from McCowatt. and Hoop is so calm in front of goal.

Also, how high was Perth's backline? we need to look for that play again.

Hooper shows his class there.  Lots of pressure from players around him.

Easily, add Devlin into that mix and our midfield two are superb.

There's gotta be space created somewhere then if he doesn't hold it so long

kilkenny took 88 when he moved to Perth from Melb. no real reason given.. Hoops has a genuine reason to use the number

having to absorb a bit of pressure here. Hope we can get the ball and back into the game soon.

we seem to be set up to hit them on the break, with Mccowatt and libby on the left we certainly have the pace, same on the right.

8 is lucky number for the Chinese I believe. Have a look at the VIP car park at Sky City if you want to see how much of a thing it is, a high percentage of the plates are personalized with as many 8's as possible. Maybe Hooper (and Kilkenny) is Chinese?

Apparently his favoured number is 8, but he couldn't have it when he moved to melb. C so went with 88 (like Smeltz that season he wore 99 for us, and I think there's been a 77 for the same reason)
