imho:  Jeronimo, Griffiths, Virgili are no walk in the park, and have enough in behind them to set them away.  And we failed to create a lot of chances against them in that game, so they can't be totally shoddy in defence.  I suspect we have improved and got our midfield and front three more fine tuned since then, but I struggle to see easy beats.

People watch games not involving the Nix and say how crap the teams are. Then when we play them, they are apparently good sides. I don't think there are any easy beats. Every time we win it feels like a big achievement - I never think "well, that was expected!"

The Jets aren't complete crap or anything but they are one of the lesser sides in the competition. When people say easy-beats I think mean that at home we need to be beating teams like this. If we don't beat teams like this and Perth at home then we will miss the playoffs. Newcastle have also had a few injuries early in the season.

I think he is suggesting changing the makeup of the bench as McGlinchey can cover midfield positions.

Oh, and only a couple of Jest fans coming over that I'm aware of - Bodi and Furns. Told them to pack their togs as the weather was gorgeous, perfect for another swim in the harbour! Bodi was going on about being p!ssed off at 30 degrees in Melbourne last weekend or something..... :-D

Really looking forward to this game, hope we can show improvement on last week. If we can put in a whole 90 we will be hard to beat.   and i am not working which is great
