Meh. We played pretty well and deserved something out of the game. Didn't get it and that is disappointing. Going to Melbourne next week will be tough.

Disgusting result - very poor that we didnt have this game won in the first half

Cant believe its goalless! Best first half I've seen from the Nix without a doubt. Hoping for a couple of goals in the second half, but I'm expecting a smash and grab from Sydney.

I jinxed it. Fudge.

First half was quality, but looked tired. Needed fresh legs in the middle, but never came.

Soft goal... if only Krishna's hadn't been disallowed.

Goal was scored from a right foot.

Assisted by a header.

I know it's only three games into the season but how come every team we've played looks fitter than us?

Dewhurst was rabitting on about A league and how classy Kosta is and then journeyman Simon just does the business and sets it up..simple game really.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

I know. I was saying the header at the very last play by Ridenton I think. Very off target.

An actual striker, something we are seemingly never destined to have.

A draw was a fair result but there is nothing fair in football.

Probably because we have Lia and Finkler in the middle of the park. Both tire by the 60 min mark.

Though to be fair; thought Lia was one of our best today.

Roly was actually our poorest midfielder by quite a bit.

Well, shark happens. On the other hand we should have scored a couple of goals too. Looks like we did not have the legs to last the whole game.

On the balance of things I think it was a draw kind of a game.  There is still a lot of work to do for Ernie to get this team sorted, especially with so many key new faces. I would have preferred for this to have happened in the off season, frankly.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I thought Roly had his best game this season... played a lot deeper and got on the ball more. Was involved and didn't get caught in possession too often/

didn't see how Watson was doing when he came on?

I think that because there was a certain inevitably about that ending, it does't quite hurt as much as expected. Just knew it was coming.

Must've watched a different game to me. Lost the ball countless times in dangerous positions and had some horrid first touches. He got on the ball more, but didn't do anything with it.

I was wondering why on earth he wasn't playing there in pre-season? Quite clear we were over subscribed with players up front. So why 3 games in make such a big switch?

I dunno- I thought we were the more enterprising of the two teams and made the running most of the game. We had two one-on-ones incorrectly waved away. Not sure if a draw would have been fair!

But the late goal was a dirty steal.

biggest concern for me is 3 games no goals and still poor free kick/ corner execution

also, Finkler has the turning circle of a ford cortina
