Yup. Doyle for Fenton and Brockie for Lia and go back to the starting up that has been doing the job thus far.

Victory have played bloody well tonight. They fully deserve to be at the top of the table.

Doyle for Fenton. Boyd over Brockie and Kenny on the wood possibly.

This. We could have had different tactics but Melbourne are just a better team.

Not sure why Krishna is throwing his arms in the air at his team mate. It was his pass that was not good enough

Ricki never gave Kosta the chance or freedom.

The day we beat victory away from home, is the day I start shitting gold ingots.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Really disappointing performance against a depleted MV. Ernie got it wrong tonight compounded by a few poor individual performances.

Our back four always get found out by pace and , as everyone knows, we are missing a striker. God knows why Krishna was extended.

I think we'll do ok (mid table) but we aren't in the top tier and won't be without one more off season of squad cleansing.

And Roly is real class.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

I think the formation changes and poor performances from Muscat, Fenton and to a less extent McGlinchey (off side or kicked away too easy) were the main thing as well as not trying to play the game at our pace. You cannot deny that Muscat outcoached Ernie tonight.

Bring on Friday! Hopefully a big walk up crowd. Brockie needs a goal or 2. If not, lets give Kenny or Boyd a go.

Ernie has a lot to answer for. Their first XI tonight was nothing to be scared of. We had huge issues playing out from the fullback positions because of his changes and Lia for Brockie was madness.

Fenton shouldn't of been playing and I guarantee Manny would've done better at right back . Not to mention the complete lack of faith in Doyle.

I swear we make these sides look better than they really are. Finklers goal etc, they're treating it as though it's some sublime strike when it was just another Nix howler.

Roly and Andrew Durante both looked good tonight.

If I was doing a 3-2-1 it would be those two and Rodriguez. Why he got dragged is beyond me even though we started the 2nd half better without him.

Would really like someone to ask Ernie why he changed things ..? Was Ricki esque in its defeatist attitude

Feel like we missed a good opportunity tonight. Yes, MVC were superior to us. But they are  serious title contenders, whereas we have a good team which hopefully will make the play-offs. That's a big difference.

In any case, Burns had a golden opportunity on the 1-0 to equalize, and he missed. In the second half, when we were having a very good spell of possession and constant pressure, we end up conceding the 2nd goal from what should have been a positive play by us. Wee Mac all alone out wide...I never thought we would have conceded a goal there!

So, yes MVC were a good couple of goals better than us on the night, but this is football and we played OK all things considered, and had we taken our chances, we may have come home with a point.

One thing which I'm very concerned about is how many passing mistakes we make, especially in the midfield. That's a serious worry since we try to play a possession-based game.
