Can we get a tally of Monday morning "sorry Phoenix we got that wrong" calls/statements over the last couple of years.  I'm pretty sure there has been a few.

At some point can we just exchange them for points on the board??

Getting sharkhoused by the referees and the most tinpot plastic franchise in the league. Wasn’t expecting the national league game to be the best football match I’d watch today...

4 games lost on the trot means we're pretty much gone already. What a disappointment that is.

So Mr Kerr, please enlighten us all about the Refereeing and VAR calls please. I look forward to your input and justifications so I can match them up when I watch the game.

PS: Ufuk, Welcome to the A League New Zealand style. Now that you are on the receiving end of some dodgy call, do you now feel there is nothing untoward the Nix going on?

As pissed as I am about the VAR we have been poor for most of this game and deserve to lose unfortunately.

Ehhh... Adelaide had a pretty bad start on the season they won. Not saying we're going to win anything, but it certainly ain't over

In politically correct terms our current situation would be...The unfortunate morbidly enlarged non gender specific person is preparing to take the stage and entertain us all. Is that right?

Sorry guys & Ladies, trying to keep a sense of humour after reading all the comments before mine.

As soon as that pen happened we just gave up, surely it should fire us up

I've yet to see anything to alleviate my early season worries that this 4-2-2-2 really doesn't suit our players, and is a formation that seems to leave gaps in the middle, exposes our defensive flanks as our wide backs tuck in, and leaves us undercooked going forward as our 'wingers' pull back in to try and cover the advanced wide players of the opposition.

We're like the Paul Okon version of Central Coast Mariners. Play pretty well at times but still too shark to win

So Talay needs to come up with Plan B. If he doesn't have that and can't turn this team around I'd like to see him out the door before the end of the month.

LMAO yep let's replace him with one of the long list of applicants we turned down.p

So you want to stick with a coach who clearly is out of his depth at this level? Maybe you're happy to finish bottom this year but I'm not. And yes there's plenty of other coaches out there who could do a job.

Rubbish so let's just sack the coach every time things arnt going as the fans think they should be.Not so sure where all these other coaches are.

Yup, that's pretty much standard for any team in any league around the world.

The reason is that players loose their confidence in the coaches ability to turn things around. The belief goes, the heads drop and a losing mentality creeps in. We're one defeat away from getting there, if not already.

Trouble is, the referee association like to blood their new borns against us. Obviously they want to make the grade and dare not rule against policy thereby actually giving us a rub of the green, a break, or a fair decision.

Pretty obvious the morale is shot with this lot. Apart from all the tactical issues it's going to be very hard getting them back up for the next game.

I'm pretty sure the main VAR guy today has been around a long time, and has a reputation for dodgy (possibly corrupt?) decisions.
