So... going to be hard (see impossible) to follow up after last night but I'll still be there cheering on the boys with what voice I have left. We are picking up all the points today.

I got some tickets with the 50% off on Friday. Pax 8272. I don’t think there will be a small crowd.

Are you still cold after todays result?  I'm hoping that will motivate a fair few fairweather fans to rock up.

Yes, still cold on the WC. I did miss yesterday's qualifier though. As good an excuse as any was that I was involved in my own sporting drama, a down-to-the-wire club cricket win over some old foes.

To see we'd kept Peru scoreless, albeit not scoring ourselves, did feel good. It's not hard for the old feelings to come rushing back.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

Not looking to bad. Hope Finkler get better into the game than last week. Tough weekend for Doyle, not select for the AW and today on the bench.

I am surprised it’s Doyle on the bench and not Mullen. He was poor last week.

IMO Doyle should be starting ahead of Abbas at LB anyway

Roll on kickoff.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Would have Doyle over Abbas any day of the week, and Finkler needs to step up today. He's been so poor.

What a terrible start. Fold the club for consistently ruining my weekend.

i made the mistake of starting to watch a phoenix football game. Has to be one of the worst or at least uncaring nix teams ever.

rossi's passing has been very poor- that goal was the result of his terrible pass

Smith put under enormous pressure by Rossi, but should've done a lot better

Vidosic doesn't do anything except score headers every now and then, nice one. Now fudgeing play properly.

Dewhurst still doesn't realise Galloway isn't playing. Fudgeing hell.

Have the Nix still never been on the positive side of a VAR call?

sometimes I don't get football.

Two players go up and collide.  Nix players gets pinged despite being the one that actually heads the ball.

Do both commentators not realise Galloway isn't playing?
