That's not a penalty. Look at the speed the ball is moving and the distance it has to travel before it hits the defender's arm. The defender can't avoid the ball unless he goes out of his way to keep his arms at his side.

Please don't try and sit on this lead. Bang another one in and finish it.

How so? Shot looked like it was going to be on target, arms away from the body. 

I don't see how it can't be.

Smashed into his arm from a metre away, and his boot was high - don't think that was a pen, but will take it.

He was off balance trying to reach for the ball, you can't do that and keep your arms by your side, and you don't have to. 

Rossi has worked his way into the game well. Good to have him back.

Much more clearcut than the VAR for a pen that Perth copped recently. Smashed into defender's arm behind his back from 2 yards, was given.

Then it was bad defensive positioning to begin with. You can't have your arm away from the body in front of a shot regardless of intention.

Shot being on target is irrelevant. Arms away from the body is only one factor and has to be in an unnatural position. Debatable as to whether that's the case when a player is jumping.

Ref should also be taking into account the speed at which the ball was travelling and the distance the ball had to travel before striking the player.

Have not seen shirtless Patrick in the stands (with 10 min to go) in a long time. Finally this time.
