I'm worried we'll set a new record for lowest attendance in Wellington on Sunday.

As a whole, the situation is ludicrous and the A-league really needs to step up and stop for international windows.

Pax? At least the game was moved forward. Just wonder how well this fact has been publicised

I hope we win.

At the very least let's see some decent football.

See quite a few on forums and social media mention they are staying on for the Nix game, how much that translates into will be the question. Casual Wellington punters may not turn up if they choose between the All Whites and the Nix game, may decide not to pay for both.

I guess the question is whether the number of out of towners sticking around is enough to offset the Wellington based people who won't go because they went to the Peru game. If we beat Peru I reckon that'll help the Nix crowd figure but I think with the crap form the Nix are in, less then ideal conditions, and the probable sombre mood after losing to Peru we can't expect a decent crowd.

My estimate: 6349

Hell if we beat Peru then I'd double that!

Thought we were going to kick-start our season against Brisbane a fortnight a go, but that wasn't to be. Sunday will be the 223rd day since we've last won a competitive game. Fire the fudge up it's a weekend of football

For the first time in years I'm actually optimistic about the possible crowd for this week. Think of all the people who will stick around after the all whites game. Chances are if you're from out of town and you've come down for the game then you support the nix (or at least just like football) so its likely they'll stay for Sunday - plus tickets are 50% if you have a ticket to the all whites game. I genuinely think we could see a crowd number close to that magical 10k... 9,400 my prediction

A double long distance derby? Perth & Peru Both have PER as the first 3 letters...Where's the Anorak brigade when you need them??

I had thought Dura started that game for some reason, I was hoping no one would notice the mistake before I corrected it.

Looking back over the end of the last season and the start of this, its not really a surprise out defence has been porous, its basically been the first time they have played together every week.

They might be a bit under the weather, figuratively speaking.

I'm surprised the A-League didn't truncate us over to Perth for this one. Strangely, I'm more focused on the Phoenix this weekend. The WC leaves me cold these days.

The Phoenix don't leave me cold, just agitated...the current table is just awful to look at.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

Are you still cold after todays result?  I'm hoping that will motivate a fair few fairweather fans to rock up.

After today's incredible AW performance there seems to be zero hype surrounding the game tomorrow (somewhat understandable). However tomorrow is arguably going to be one of our most important games of the season, total must-win match. Only three points will do, otherwise we are already cut adrift from the rest of the teams. We need a lift badly, and hopefully in front of a big crowd tomorrow we'll kick start our season
