Yeah but we'd still have Burns in there somewhere.

Lot of negativity here, we’ve honestly been very promising and our passing moves actually work

We have knocked it around pretty well to be fair; much better with Singh in there; unsurrpisingly. We really need a goal though.

I am still seething from the Burns "effort". Completely selfish attempt.

Hopefully Krishna will be spared the embarrassment of being plastered over hundreds of A-League meme accounts (spoiler: he won’t)

No doubt they'd turn us down.

Have to be bolder. All this nice play is with 11 Perth in front of us.

We are playing some nice football, the passing has been good. Even had a couple of decent chances.

Burns is such a frustrating player eh - he does the right thing, then holds onto it too long and doesn't set Krishna through. So many times he does that.

Agree, and the goal came from a decent dangerous ball into the box from him.

It's just aggravatingly ironic that we seem to have the only Australian in sporting history who is lacking in self-confidence!

My cynical side is telling me we're going to concede in the 10th minute of injury time.

After having finally seen a half of football that I had hoped we would see under Rudan I think these players are good enough to compete this season if they play like this:

Kurto (if fit)
Taylor
Durante (only in a back three)
Kopa
Mandi
Rufer
Singh (being dropped has really fired him up)
Krishna
Burns

Jury is still out on:

Fox
Doyle
Williams
Nicholls
Lowry

We need an upgrade in Jan on:
Fenton (just dosn't have enough quality for the role - tries really hard, the new siggy)
Cacace (not good enough at the moment - bench role this season would suit)
Could get a #9 as a backup plan but if the front three can play like this every week then it would be a change up role, not a starter.

Burns. What a player...

I think Sail has been good except that cagey moment towards the end. Not easy to come in like that as a keeper.

We will tire in the 2nd half because we've been pressing so hard. Let's hope we get a 2nd goal early.

Seems like Perth are passing well below their average, and we're passing well above - you'd assume it will level out.

Singh is clearly a class above every other attacking player we have. He's played 3 or 4 defence splitting balls (should've had a pen for one)

he missed kicked it and Krish pounced. Perth are awful as well - they are playing like the zombie cast of the Walking Dead.

Nice to see us try to hold on to the ball and recycle it back to keep possession.

I think Fenton is having a good game... admittedly he has had to do very little defensively, but thats because we are dominating. Carcace also playing well.

Other than the miss, I think Burns has been good, particularly in the tight spots finding a little room and laying it off to our mids who are actually pushing forward looking for the ball.

Rufer looking good - just shows what game time does.

Very nice to see us really control that half. Well played by everyone. Could've been up by more really.
