all the burns haters - yes that shot was aweful but his general play has been quite good.

Definitely, they have been really poor. The test will come when Castro comes on. He invariably carves us up.
Singh has been a massive difference creatively, but to me, the biggest difference is that we seem to be playing with a midfield this week. Rufer and Mandi are getting on the ball and distributing, and we aren't getting sucked in to having three up front and the rest defending.
Perth have been really terrible. With us pushing our wing-backs forward early on they sat deep and just let us pass it around in a way we haven't been able to all season. Our recent matches maybe lulled them into a false sense of security.
I hope we do try to keep holding onto possession and attacking (within reason) this half.

VAR is beyond a joke now. The contrast between the ref not reviewing the potential penalty against Fenton and checking for dangerous play against Lowry when no one from Perth was complaining is ridiculous in the extreme.
And it was inevitable wasn't it. After not blowing for an obvious penalty he now stuffs us with this ludicrous mis-use of VAR.
