don't know who's one eyedness is worse, the ref or the commentators
I'll say.
These commentators are a nightmare. Not impartial at all.

I'd like to thank Tony Hudson for allowing our players to travel coach class. I hope he did as well.
bit harsh not to come away with a point I think :( both teams were average in the second half. We especially struggled once Siggy went off I reckon.
we are lucky they couldn't score.until their second. Battled well but always defending
A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen
four in a row is a good run..

Ref was shocking today, unfortunate to concede both early and late. Durante had a good game.
Not much initiative in the second half. Powell gives us something different perhaps? Sarpong and Roly mostly tourists, we couldn't get any width....

I think that's a weak excuse, they've been at home nearly a week.
minimum 3min, ref blew after 2:45
It's just a little bias, like having extra overseas players, marquees etc etc...
Time to start a game with Powell and Jeff on the sidelines.
Lame.
Thought we were great in the first half.
Durante was awesome.
I think we definitely deserved to lose. Our front 4 just doesn't seem to be working as a unit right now. We have enough talent to finish top 6 but need to really gel to do any better.

Powell mostly on bench isn't he..only 1 start?

I thought Strebre had a good game tonight.
Thought we were piss poor in the 2nd half but the ref didn't help much. Ernie's subs didn't either - WeeMac was clearly struggling and played the entire game. Needs to make a decision on Sarpong as he doesn't bring anything to the team currently.
a.haak

We couldn't create anything. I don't remember any of our typical chances. Sarpong is becoming a luxury and should spend some time out of the starting XI IMO.
We had to be much more clinical with fewer chances and we weren't.
But yeh, a lot of flopping from WSW when they lost out and they got a few of them.
like pay him out?..worse than Kenny when he joined.

I know Muscats not a centre half and probably hasn't practiced corners all that much but ALL he has to do there is run toward the vicinity of that ball and thats not a goal. Really disappointing to see him standing there watching right to the end. Thought Rufer had a pretty good game though. We have some serious depth at centre midfield.
Appiah scored a fair few in pre-season and Powel has scored one.
Rufer? Unlucky on that volley.

was unhappy the guys didn't come off the post to try and close down the space there.
Its definitely not a level playing field on foul calls, cards, and on the amount of extra time. We were on the wrong side of both these. Definitely way more than 3 minutes extra time (and more than 2.45!). At the end of the day it was pretty even as either team could have won it going in to the last 10. But we didn't get much luck of the bounce - McGlinchey hits post and we concede off the rebound where basically every ball from that sequence then fell the WSW way, Plus Rufer's volley.... I can see us improving on this performance actually.

Maybe, but being on the post is for a corner, not a one on one. That's just my opinion, and I was a defender for a fair while, but certainly at a much lower level than the majority on here!
Guy in the box with the ball and he has a minute to pick his spot. Someone has to try to shut him down, rush him or limit the angle other than just Moss
Meh, with Burns we win this game 4-1 I reckon.

Not sure of the merits of playing WeeMac. Would like to see Krishna, Bonevacia, Powell and Appiah start together, dropping WeeMac and Sarpong to the bench.
Not a good 2nd half from us and Strebre was very poor - and not equally poor with plenty of calls against us when WSW committed similar offences he let go (e.g. Santalab's foul when contesting a header in the build up to the WSW corner that resulted in the goal then 5min later blows up Manny for doing the same thing), and Siggy's injury was more than 3min alone.
No complaints about the result, but quite possibly the most one-sided display of refereeing I have seen for many a year.

When he penalised Roy for showing great ball handling skills on ground really galled me. Could have resulted in a goal for us and thus a 2-1 win to us instead of a win to Strebre, er WSW.
BTW does anyone else think Krishna looks 500% better when he plays upfront by himself? I just don't feel he gets into the game much at all from out wide.

pretty sure you're not allowed to hold the ball between your feet like that? may have to goggle...or wait till someone smarter call me on it...

No. Rufer, Fenton, Appiah.
