Tremendous win. What will it do to the team's confidence, sense of belief?

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

Probably the same thing it does for us supporters. Gives us that little bit of hope

I like the guy saying we have no fans AND shark chants. If we had no fans he wouldn't be able to hear the shark chants.

Cool I'm not going to criticise them for blue and white tinted glasses as mine are yellow and black regularly.

Holy hell that was worth driving in from the rapa for, at least I have an hour and a half drive to calm down and hopefully get a few hours sleep before the morning train.

I was suggesting that Doloras was offside ;-)

Fudge that was a good win. Fudge we needed that

And we finally play Roly closer to goal and look what happens!

Plus watching Smeltz we never really replaced him at all. Man he's a good player. The not-a-striker thing was a joke but actually it was completely bloody obvious in hindsight

Ernie's selections and tactics really weren't' right for this group of players and now we can defend. We have a bit of grit and mongrel plus what looks like a bit of game intelligence, a team transformed from the walking dead who played for the whole of last year

Smeltz is the missing piece, intelligent and committed up front. Hopefully Watto is watching and learning.

I just want to say that is the most fun I've had at a Nix game in a while! Yellow fever was on song tonight and was awesome, especially the last 10mins.

Took two Canadian family friends to the game who have never been to a football match, couldn't have taken them to a better game, they loved it and picked up a couple of Nix scarfs to take home.

I'm an optimistic pessimist.
I'm positive things will go wrong.

Big thanks to the Nix and the yellow fever for a great evening. My lad enjoyed it heaps (so did I) sitting right behind the fever in full voice!

Great performance. Tratt, finally! After all the attempts on the weekend, great celebration in front if the fever. Last goal from Kosta was excellent, too. Awesome work rate from everyone. Stadium was on fire. Best game since forever.

Wow. Best performance since the 2014/15 season. Everyone was brillant, including the coaches who executed a plan perfectly. Roly was tremendous in particular, and Kosta had his best game of the season. Well done, they should be very proud of this performance!

4-2-3-1

Lia and A-Rod smashed them

Rossi is  probably the best CB in the comp. We should do our utmost to have him here next season.

Pleased Kosta scored. Smeltz waa excellent , Kosta's best game of the season. Important Moss save from Broxham.

Thoroughly deserved 3 points, who's next!

Kosta made some good runs tonight and scored a good goal, but was still poor IMO.

A great result though and one that most of us didn't see coming. We have a midfield!

Excellent work tonight. Restricted them to few chances, and tore them apart late on when they were trying to push on.

Let's go for 9/9 on Saturday and we could be up to 4th, remarkable as that may seem!

Brilliant performance. Defence excellent, always kept their shape and balance. Midfield superb, Vinnie and A Rod were great in there. Roly what a finish and nearly did it again later. Roy superb pass. Smeltzy kept at it and opened the gaps for others. Kosta made quie a difference tonight. Set pieces erratic, but did well in most other things. Top work to win the tackle and then score. Mikey top impact, great cross for Tratty.
Trattty is becoming a stand out.
Excellent work Des and Greenie.

That's the best we've played since we dismantled Adelaide last season.

Tratt and Rossi are two of the best defenders in the league, adding A-Rod to the midfield has worked wonders, he gets the balls, moves it quickly and opens up great opportunities. Smeltz has shown already he has plenty to offer this side and Bonevacia has been fantastic since being moved forward. I feel for Gui but hopefully now he can transition into being an impact player from the bench.

Mossy didn't have a lot to do but pulled out an absolute screamer when he needed to and Kosta's goal was ridiculous.

Most fun I've had at a Nix game in a long time.
