Hey team, what's the best/cheapest parking at stadium. Visiting from chch with the kids

Someone correct me fi Im wrong but I think around the back of the supreme court/toyworld area is free parking after 6?

And that's a block-ish from the train station (where the entrance to the stadium is).

Cant find confirmation of the time it goes free though.

Yeah, just park on the street - it's free after 6 and there should be plenty of parking around, your best bet is probably behind the Old Government Buildings/Victoria University School of law, but anywhere around Parliament is fine.

If you wanted to park near the back bencher you might have trouble with the earthquake demolition going on so probably best to avoid the Thorndon area.

Going to be some interesting selections for the starting 11 surely. Can they start Roly and Gui? surely not. What about the Kosta problem, he hasn't looked convincing in quite a few games, will they start him on the bench and bring Krishna straight back in? Such a looong time since I can remember having positive selection issues at the nix.

Erm, you realise he just came back from injury right? Would be madness to start him again.

We've got to be thrilled with a striking pairing of Krishna and Smeltz. It doesn't get much better, right across the comp.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

POLL TIME:

In what minute will Berisha first fall over in the Penalty Area and appeal for a penalty?

Go!

Just bought my first ever 'happiness insurance' at the tab. $3.75 for Berisha the bastard to score and melbourne to win. Feels wrong betting against us. come on nix!

Agreed. You can see the difference in his attitude now he is playing in a more suitable position

Well, this is going better than I expected.

As said above, Roly up the field is a revelation. A-Rod and Vinnie are beginning to look like a midfield, amazingly enough. The Vuktree (do we still call them the Tards?) don't seem to have any ideas apart from pumping it up the flank to Marco or Ben Khallafah. This does not look like a top-2 side. Only real niggle is that Kosta still doesn't seem to "have it" - probably be subbed for WeeMac at 60-65 minutes.

Second half will IMHO depend on if the wind is as strong as it was Saturday - if so, the MVFC game might be more effective with those long balls. Here's hoping we can hold on.

Kosta hasn't been terrible- he's been part of the equation. Smeltz has got a decent football brain, missing a bit of pace.
