A bit of an opportunity for Doyle to step up. I have an optimistic feeling for Fenton. He should have the legs to help out in defence and now that he isn't the wing back he can also take on the Bling defence with a bit more confidence.

Its funny I don't want to sound to be Tegal here but I came across a comment between Louis and one of his mates on Unilad in which he came off a bit depressed. When I think of the way his plays slumped (or more the manner in which it slumped, lack of confidence, just not looking focused and under pressure on the pitch etc) it makes sense to me. Of course I could be miles from the truth but it would certainly explain why Merricks kept the faith. Infact prehaps a run at his more natural position with a bit less pressure is what merrick believes will bring out the best in Fenton. I truly hope he can get back to his best as I think he has the potential to be one of the best fullbacks in the league
