The players showed last week they couldn't be bothered,

People on this forum went through me for a short-cut for saying just that,

SEVEN mins to kickoff.

Such is the pull of alcohol.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

If it's any consolation, WSW only got 8000 to their game last night, at a better kickoff time  in a city with 10 times the population. The A League is in crisis

I like our line up for this game. The defence looks more solid with Galloway and Doyle (we need both of them to perform against Victory).  And having no Finkler in the starting line up means our passes will hopefully find the target.

Berisha has been very quiet the last few games. I expect Kosta will be on fire just for this game, but with a bit of sensible defence we may just contain him.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

If anyone has the superb YouTube link that we had early in the season that would be great

(I have the usual other links already)

True, but attendances as a whole haven't been flash. City got 7k the other week and they have a team of stars by A League standards

Glad to see Doyle at Left Back.  I think this is probably the strongest side we can put out.

Durante massively asleep there. He sat beside him and after Rossi switched over was left marking thin air

I give up. This season is done if we are letting a team like Victory rip us to shreds.

Can anyone explain why Durante is starting when Mullen has done well even at FB?

Yeah, get that, but rugby league world cup final and 2nd Ashes day-night test on the box last night too. Added to the rain, plenty of reasons not to go. I know there's been shark HAL marketing, but that's not the only reason for Nix's metrics issues.

We cant string 3 passes together. The number of unforced errors, awful first touches and terrible passes are far too frequent. This is pro level football?

This. Galloway had a view right down the line and still managed to get it wrong. That's social football levels of fullback play

2 massive pieces of luck for us so far - the shot that hit the stick and bounced straight back ti italiano; and the VAR call. Things looking ominous.

The Nix metrics are terrible, no doubt, but my point was simply that they're not as bad as they might look in isolation. The FFA governance and the general staleness of the 10 team comp are affecting public interest across the board IMO.
