R8 vs WSW, Sunday 1 Dec, 5 pm

I know you guys must be fed up with another draw but I thought it was a good game. Scrappy at times and too many loose passes but also some nice interplay. Thought Fenton showed good touches and Huysegems put himself about. Hernandez looked off-colour, what a miss in front of goal. But nevertheless an enjoyable game to watch for an outsider. Boyd lifted things up front when he came on. I think the Phoenix are starting to gel as a passing unit and when they get it right they're dangerous. I like what Merrick is doing and hope he gets the chance to see his vision through. The pity is that Ifill is near the end of his career, his late fast reaction shot showed what you're missing. Someone who is accurate and can shoot quickly. Cunningham has pace but he's not going to bag a lot of goals because he seems to get too wound up. Still not convinced about Brockie.

I still think Tade is the kind of fast tricky striker who could slot in up front for you guys and would score goals once he finds his feet in the A League. Anyway, lets hope you break the win drought in Perth.

Sorry about the language but Music before and during games really pisses me. I like to hear the atmosphere build as crowd numbers increase and most certainly not during games.

We possibly deserved the win but we've said that maybe 4 times already this season. There comes a time when we actually need to get the 3 points.

Our group talked about it in the pub aftermatch. We will definitely NOT attend Nix home games if that dickwad is there playing music. We all gave up one day cricket years ago because of the music. Jesus wept!  what is the world coming too! Does everything have to be like American Idol.

May be the music is part of the "lets get more casual fans to the match" They had the dancing Nixettes....who were kind of cute but just because they have hired some Events manager with a shiney degrees in Event management does not mean they understand the underlying philosphy of football supporters.

I enjoyed the way we played again. It's refreshing. Pity it was WSW as their defence is tough to breakdown (3 conceded away to Brisbane excepted) We're playing a lot of top sides right now. But are just down on confidence in front of goal. Good we're off to Perth virtually straight away, and play friday.  Think we'll win this. Have no doubt if we can score early, we'll definitely win it.

Perhaps if the stadium sold their drinks cheaper and in a decent sized bottle,glass, cup, then perhaps people wouldn't need to try. Sorry, that sound like too much common sense. Spotless? I know them at work as "Pointless" because that is what they are. Cheap and cheaper. 

The stadium wonder why people show up half tanked at those rip off prices. Red Badge turn a blind eye in some cases because they think they are out numbered. I can sympathise with that, but 99 percent of patrons would back them as I believe we are all sick of the dickheads playing up at games.

Muscat was good at LB but without him the midfield is missing something. The more the game wore on the more I thought we could really do with Chris James right now - and once Ernie had to make subs we lost all our shape, as there was no midfielder on the bench. If it's true we tried to get Keat then I think we'll be silly not to try for James.
