Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Duran might be our first import since Kaludjerovic in 17/18 (January arrival for the Roar in 14/15), plus Ali Abbas who was first with a rival A-League team before we signed them. I just can't think of any others after Kaludjerovic and Abbas.

Played about half the available minutes for Macarthur. Didn't always start, often subbed.
Mainly LW, some 9. I'm feeling much less optimistic about this signing than about Eze preseason.

Good to see some people be a bit positive unlike some of the miserable buggars who only ever want to be negative. At least our Coach is nice and positive about him and whats ahead. Actually loving Greenie being so positive maybe an idea for some to give him a chance before the negativity starts.

I must admit I didn’t remember the guy, but on paper this isn’t a bad signing. Prime age, English speaking, lived in this neck of the woods before and has played in a decent league in Mexico.
If the business about being played out of position at MacArthur is correct, Can’t see too much not to like.

Just to be clear, I thought Eze looked like a good signing. Duran not so much. We'll see.

As this is a year of another tight belt, I cannot imagine us paying over the odds for his signature. If he decided his future is in Australia, did not get any better offers, and did not fancy going down a level to state level, then we are simply the next best shop window for him to remain relevant for ALM after the next two years.

Yep, that is totally valid. Let's see what the next few weeks of recruitment will bring to our midfield, hopefully the club will unearth someone out of left field - we still need a couple more there.
