Shit Stein! Chose a bad time to start missing chances!

This has been a Herbert era type performance - play turgid rubbish for 75 minutes, then start pressing hard but ultimately don't get the late winner.

what a waste today! We really needed the 3 points. Sure, we were missing half the squad, but for 60+ minutes we were woeful and then finally decided to start playing. Think what the game would have been like if we'd started with the intensity we put in the last 20-25!

I have to say, for a team that has played (at times) some of the best football in the league this season, it's a shame we came to play such an important game without many key players, but still we should have done better.

Happy with Krishna and Kenny, whose tireless running paid off. Happy with Timmins, very happy in fact. Shame their GK pulled 3-4 top drawer saves and Waffles today just couldn't find the target.

The odd thing about that game is that we had way more chances but in no way could you say we deserved to win it.

Love love love love Cunningham. The man deserves to be in the World Cup with Costa Rica.

Not our best, obviously, but still some fine performances. Timmins was very solid, Boxall the same, Krishna very unlucky not to have got 1.

Gutted not to get 3. Top game for the Perth goalie, though he's an ass for the forearm to Kenny.

I thought that apart from his goal Cunningham was not very good today - his passing and crossing were both wayward

I don't want to go to work tomorrow and have someone ask me "how did the Phoenix go yesterday?"

Easy remedy for that. And you can watch the replay while relaxing on your couch.

Best save of the day was not putting the floodlights on. Should have saved $200 there

Unlucky to draw that. Not the flashest game but we dominated for large period without being dangerous. Poor krishna. He deserved a goal.

Favourite part of the evening was reira catching the bus to the grand after the game. Wat a good guy.

I hope so. Krishna a bit unlucky not to score today. He did okay for his first start

Surprised by how many of you are saying that we were "unlucky" today. Krishna and Ridenton should both have scored. Arguably Huysegems too. They should really be reflecting on their input into us losing to the last placed team and (probably) losing all realistic chance of making the six. I don't especially consider that "unlucky". I just think it's poor.

On the evidence of the games so far Brockie is the better finisher and he set up our first goal of the season with a nice ball to Huysegems.

Krishna has got pace, but has yet, I think, to get a shot on target from some good positions. Looked an interesting player against the worst team in the league, but hasn't made any decisive contributions yet...Offers something different to Brockie.

Carlos should'nt have started IMO.....he had a huge bandage on his calf and was hardly moving well even during warmups. WE looked a whole lot better when he came off.

Timmins looks OK. Krishna did some good things.....I thought he was taking too many touches but he has quick enough feet to get a shot away. Should have had a goal with that shot that hit the post and just missed the left post with another good shot. Plays Ernies game better than Brockie IMO.  Boxall is a beast...loved the way he swatted away tacklers....he also did a good job on their fast winger. Boyd livened things up when he came on. Ridenton is an amazingly good prospect for a 17 yo.....his head went down after he missed that shot but shit happens in football

It was a crap game. It really did look like 9th playing last...which it was.  In fairness to Ernie he has had a terrible time with injuries. If you had told him that by late season he would have Boxall and someone called Timmins at RB/LB, the midfield would be the kids Hicks and Ridenton and Krishna would be up front he would never believe you.

Its hard to imagine us making the finals with so many injuries.....miracles happen but I can't see this team winning away at Heart and Sydney...or troubling Adelaide

Is there any trutrh in the rumour that the Fvaer Zone is beinhg rebamed the Silent Zone?

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Poor game.

I like Ridenton but he needs to be more influential. Some nice passes but drifts out too much.

Thought Krishna did ok, but does he offer anything different to Boyd? probably not so i don't see him being re signed.

Cunningham annoys me, scores alot of good goals but his general play is so bad 90 percent of the time. Positionally he's poor on D, has a horrible touch and his passing range is limited at best.

I thought once Timmins settled he looked class. Certainly better than Shermy who i feel for. Stupid rugby divets.

Needed 3 desperately but didn't play like it.

However, other than the goal did perth have a shot at all really... we dominated without ever really seeming to be too interested.
