My kid is doing a research project on the NIX. Can anyone tell me who has the record for most assists ever for them.

This site here: https://fbref.com/en/squads/81134e0b/history/Wellington-Phoenix-Stats-and-History  has stats for every season of the phoenix.

You can click on each season and then order by assists - they don't do an all time page unfortunately, so you'll just have to add the seasons up together for each player.

Transfermarkt is one of the best resources for this.

It’s sorted by all time appearances by default, but you can change it by clicking on the icons.

Blue ball = goals scored

Green ball = assists

Yellow card is obvious

Looks like Krishna is top assister but Ball is close on his heels.

Durante far and away the most yellow cards.

Lol- I was just about to do it season by season and write it all out as I couldn’t find that feature on most websites. I had a quick look at transfermarkt, but couldn’t see the functionality. 

We forget how many goals we used to score with Uffie! Fairly impressive stuff from Bally.

They have done Lochhead dirty by not recognizing his one ALM goal!

Just a note that uniquely, Transfermarkt counts penalties won as assists, unlike other stat aggregators!

Always felt winning a pen should count as an assist.

Ooomph hard disagree there.  You shouldn't "win" a pen, a pen is the punishment for the opposition doing something they shouldn't.

Think I’d have enjoyed the exercise as I often throw the stat goal contributions around and it makes Krishna’s time here even more amazing. Especially when you consider he’d likely have got more with the VAR in play.

Yeah I was just having a look at Opta's official definition and they don't count assists for penalties - strange then that trasfermarkt has decided to count them

On the a-league match centre they have the goals and some other stats but not assists listed. But is there somewhere else that you can go to a specific game and see who got the assists in that game?

You can do that on Transfermarkt

FotMob (website + app) & Sofascore - Football (app) are good for this.

Can select individual matches by visiting the 'club' page or searching for what you want through the search bar. Or you flick through the playing squad and filter what you want by selecting any player you choose.

For each individual match on both platforms you can click on the team names to bring up all stats from a particular game - formations, player lists, real time ticker of match action and all the stats.

FotMob is my go to, but to each their own.
