If Melbourne are down it goes awfully quiet, and with 3 times our crowds it's hardlu surprising they make some noise.

We're the North end is their party piece and it comes off well, but there isn't a lot else to them.

Not that I'm holding us up as the greatest supporters group ever.

You're a hard man HN, you should know that the MVFC hardcores true home is Olympic Park, and the new stadium feels like home.

At Etihad, MVFC fans feel like guests, a reflection of the atmosphere too at times.

You're a hard man HN, a hard man...

YF fall out with each other every week - yet to provide catalyst for break away faction

If the group is happy then why break them up?

Melbourne's fans spilt due to some wanting to follow MVFC 'the British way' (singing, no banners)and some wanting to follow MVFC 'the Euro way' (banners, chanting, jumping etc) of supporting the team.

Also, apparentlly some of 'The Union's' money (The Union was a name given to an early MVFC supporters group) went missing around season 1 or 2. Not sure of the full details, but I've heard this from a few that were involved early on.

MVFC + Etitard = RUBBISH!

Come to think of it MVFC fans are rubbish wherever they are!

To create a north end-south end you'd be splitting a group into two which would ruin the atmos that the YF produce by being concentrated in one zone.
It wouldn't work unless you miraculously recruited another 1-2000 that aren't already at the matches  to join in down the other end. Maybe one day........playoff time perhaps?

And you are from the Tron..

The Zone isn't as full as it used to be. You can see it on the tv.

Its exactly as full as its always been as far as i can tell. In season one it was cramped as it was mostly just the one aisle, and everyone cramped in and there were no ticket checks at gates. Now thats fixed, its still packed, over a larger area. Id say its about the same,if not more. You can see it at the ground.

There has always been a consistent attendance number there, the variable, that you can visibly see is those spread along halfway, some games it is noticeably less, but now that we've been winning, its noticeably more.

Nice idea. But really the numbers are not there in My opinion. If we got 20,000 for the finals (If we make it) and the Zone was booked out, and still more passionate fans I would be all for it.

Still think one of the best part of the AW Qualifier was when Bahrain had a corner down non-white noise end and got a chorus of 'Who are ya's?"

All Aboard the Phoenix/ All Whites Bandwagon!!

How about a scottish section I can see  Ginger eejit outsinging the whole YF easily!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Only if we get the spa and the prawn sandwiches...

I'd love a Scottish section, preferably about 20 acres on the side of Loch Lomond.

So if this group gets going (splitters!), are we the PFJ or the JPF?

LOL, "Greek Fever" was a bit before my time so I looked at some of those old threads. Some interesting lulz in there, but most interesting was some of the Greeks in 2008 saying "Give Kosta a run", and many regulars here saying Kosta wasn't nearly as good as Draper.

We'll rip-off the YF t-shirts and sell for half-price.

Half an hour after buying one, you'll want more.

Umm as why play Kosta when Draper is the only out and out striker part from Smeltz amd Covs.

[QUOTE=Scottishbhoy]If he has only scored two goals in 41 appearence at NZFC then how will he score in the A-League..
