Appjab has had a better game than Krishna so far

Krishna full of running and endeavour - looking the most likely.

Rest of the team look like we're stuck in second gear.

COYN we should be smashing these jokers!

Christ we fell apart like wet lettuce there.

Our midfield is MIA

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Typical Phoenix. Some days the team just doesnt turn up. Hopefully can turn it around as the game goes on.

Positive

Italiano looks the best I've seen him. He's usually shocking

Krishna's pace is causing them issues

Concerns

1. Our defence is poor. We're getting skinned for pace at the back. Need to adapt accordingly

2. We're hoofing it too often and giving away possession.

Roy should try and cut it back not shoot from that far right

Yeah, 4-3-3 requires a solid midfield who understand the formation. Sadly, that's not us

Okon has obviously paid close attention to the way the Jets dissected us. They are really attacking us with pace and making us look very static.

Main issues; Full backs with no pace (luckily Mullen has good positioning), Paracki and Ridenton MIA. Where has the old Paracki gone...

Pain getting far too much space down the left flank. We will be punished if we don't sort our shark out.

Just as I say that we do.

Wake the fudge up! This is depressing...

We're pretty used to embarrassment the last few years. Let's hope we can fight back.

Spoke too soon about Italiano. Yeah it was unfortunate, but he was off his line. I'm not a keeper but I'm fairly certain (from watching a lot of football) they're meant to be on their line or close too it.

Gk basics 101. Have players on the posts. Sack Italiano

You're asking a lot from a keeper to readjust to a glancing header from your own player two yards away.

Playing like the All Whites - long balls, long throws. What a flat half.

Vidosic very quiet

So how is that not a penalty?

I don't understand handballs anymore!

Erm, that was a hand ball, no?

Less time to react if you're off your line. K9 had a shocker though, no one round him!

"It looks like it struck his arm, but not enough to be a penalty" .... You fudgeing what!?!?!?!

I don't think the half was that flat IMO - we probably had the better chances, bar for the one on one they missed. Less ball, but we have been threatening.

Agree but an organised keeper has players on the posts and then that’s not a goal

Coach will decide the defensive set up at corners, not the keeper

A lot of teams don't have players on the post... why not have the extra player trying to win the ball and clear it (pro active vs reactive) What would have been better in that situation is Italiano dominating the space and going to the ball.

I don't get that either. Hand was away from the body, he missed it completely with his head. Could have gone anywhere if the ball was able to bounce. The VAR is certainly bizarre. If the ref misses something, Ok fair enough we know what refs are like, but a decision like that after seeing a video replay seems inconsistent at best.

For a hand ball you have to pick up the ball, bounce it a few times and be playing Sydney. Shark reffing today. Worse from the VAR. Arm around Krishna as he got into a goal scoring position, no foul. Guy falls over his own feet at the other end- blown up.

What? Stating he should get the basics right? Not an unreasonable statement.

Unfortunate it came off our guys head - Yes.

Unfortunate he wasn't positioned correctly - Not in the slightest.

Definitely missing Galloway.

Nix look very ponderous. It's quite agonising watching our defenders and mids lumbering after their speedy attackers.

Can we do more than just lump the ball forward?

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet
