Should get a decent push midweek when people get paid.

Contact Gourdey, he would be the best bet. Though I am sure the Fever Elite have contacts.

Also this:

Upgrade your game ticket to a Season Ticket - use the face value of your game day ticket from 24 October as a discount off a full season ticket (eg. Adult Silver season ticket $189 minus game day price of $23 = $166). Phone 04 384 2457.

(Not sure if this is the right place to put it so please move/delete if needed)

I have 7 fever tees (see pic) that I'd like to give away and was wondering if I can add them to this campaign and they can be given to some of the recipients of the tickets?

Unfortunately this is not entirely selfless, we moved recently and while cleaning out I stumbled across my collection and realised that I likely won't wear them again but obvs don't want to throw them out.

I'll happily give them to someone else on here too - just want to make sure they go to a worthy cause like this or a football fan and not the OpShop :)

Maybe auction them one at a time on trademe or something? Proceeds to the membership fund? Perhaps more as limited edition collectors items to be framed?

All small, the Ifill tee is a womens 14.

Auction sounds like a good idea but not sure they'd go for much due to the sizes? It's not like they're signed (though that could probably be arranged I guess)

Some first editions in that lot too. That must increase the value right?

Awesome to see a donation from Roar, SFC and WSW fan. Now nearly 7,900 from 79 donations.

Got an article and an ad in the Hutt News, helps that their manager is a fan! He has also helped us get it in the Upper Hutt Leader and the Wellingtonian.

From Nix twitter account, this doesn't include the $8,000 we have raised towards memberships for the volunteers

It's now at $8310

So if it is used to buy pairs of 1 Adult and 1 child season tickets ($189 + $20 = $209) that's 80 'memberships'.

If it is used to by triples of 1 Adult plus 2 child season tickets ($189 + $20 = $20 = $229) that's 108 'memberships'

Guess the important part is now finding those who need/want the memberships.

Work is happening on that front. If you have suggestions or know people in organisations we can contact, let us know.

Wouldnt it depend on the organisation as to what is the best package to buy. Lets say you buy membership for hospice volunteers adult probably best. While say womens refuge may want an adult with more children. I reckon if you tailor it to the charity you decide to run with.

Yes, absolutely. I was not suggesting those were the combinations we SHOULD buy. I was just trying to give a guestimate of how many it COULD be (so far). I was looking at the figure $8310 and thinking "Yes, but what does that translate to?".

How about approaching Wellington Education/Schools either formally or informally and offering a ticket for a parent and child to attend a Phoenix Home Game. This could be done on a School by School basis, i.e. one school gets all the tickets for one game which would hopefully increase the sense of occasion for the kids. Administration of the allocation/distribution of tickets could be minimised by encouraging application from schools to a ballot/draw based on a YF Forum Topic, fb page or similar

A suggested point of difference/emphasis in donations as follows:
SavetheNix donations to encourage regular attendance from Wellingtonians
FeverDreams donations to support families via Hospital, Hospice, Make A Wish
Of course these are not mutually exclusive

We could use the funds to buy a fudgeload of flares and Fred Perry polo shirts and have a massive pyro display in Aisle 22. And just for good measure we could use the rest to bail out those who end up in the clink after a huge rumble with oppossition fans on Frank Wilde Walk.

The FFA loves this sort of thing!

(PS - Great work all involved!)

Every little bit counts, really hoping with another push we maybe able to break $10K in donations (to go along with over 10K turning up to the game next Friday)

hitting 10k would be amazing, there has been some generous donations in there.

That's just lunchtime, right? We could still do flyers at the Railway Station before work for example.

This is really fantastic. Well done to all involved in setting this up and to the people who have donated!

This is probably a stupid question, but how does the seating work when you buy a membership + ticket?

I actually told my brother that we should buy a membership this year on the Friday before the FFA made their announcement and now it's more important than ever, however, I want to make sure we don't end up sitting apart from anyone else who comes along.

Also, since I live in Auckland, I'd never thought about buying a membership, but that was before I knew the available options. I just assumed there were only season passes. Perhaps this is an area that could be promoted more to let out of town Phoenix supporters know that they can be members and contribute to their club for a reasonable price?
