This is really fantastic. Well done to all involved in setting this up and to the people who have donated!

This is probably a stupid question, but how does the seating work when you buy a membership + ticket?

I actually told my brother that we should buy a membership this year on the Friday before the FFA made their announcement and now it's more important than ever, however, I want to make sure we don't end up sitting apart from anyone else who comes along.

Also, since I live in Auckland, I'd never thought about buying a membership, but that was before I knew the available options. I just assumed there were only season passes. Perhaps this is an area that could be promoted more to let out of town Phoenix supporters know that they can be members and contribute to their club for a reasonable price?

You get like a voucher to cash in when you want to claim your seat, so you can cash them in for your and your brother at the same time and get seats together.

Come to think of it, a $50 membership could offer you some basic memorabilia, I for one would be happy to receive a key ring or a beer mug!

(by the way,  I did buy a Phoenix key ring, but it was from some dude on TradeMe, I do not think the club sells anything?)

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

This is what I got in mine: cap, scarf, lanyard, schedule magnet, pencil case?, white sticker, membership card

Cap has "Club Member Season 2015/16" on the back

Scarf has "Wellington Phoenix" in the middle over two lines.

Top quality scarf compared to my other clubs membership scarf.

So was doing some research for croud numbers as I'm really hoping we have a good croud next Friday. Our highest croud excluding finals is 18,345 (Nix vs Adelaide R15) from season 1.

Three times we have also broken 14,000. Twice more in season 1 (14,421 R1 against Melbourne and 14,288 R19 against Sydney) and once in 2009/10 (14,327 R27 against CCM) This was also lead into our two highest crouds ever, 24,267 in Finals Round 1 against Glory and then 32,792 in Finals Round 2 against the Jets

Yeah, it was the Galaxy game that weekend so your ticket included that game on the Friday. So a then you go down to 14k and three of those were in season 1. There you start getting in the 13k crouds.

I salute this guy. It's not about how much you give, it's that the Nix matter enough to you to give. Goodonyamate. Every dollars counts, and that's 10 more for the cause.

So for an update go here https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/savethenix/updates

But so far we have organised for memberships to go to SPCA, Women's Refuge, Neonatal, Te Omunga Hospice, Ronald McDonald House and Lifeflight. There are more organisations I am in touch with also and thanks to the Phoenix giving us a discount on the memberships we will be able to give back to many deserving people. Thank you for your support as we just cracked $11,000!

Hey, have been in touch with Wellington Free Ambulance (I'm a big fan of them too as they have been my saviour before). But to be honest the response from their management was luck warm and though I did follow up again, I have had no response so not feeling like anything will happen there.

The news that Football Federation Australia (FFA) have declined the Wellington Phoenix a ten year licence extension to compete in the Hyundai A-League has rocked both the fans of the club and the football community as a whole.

As supporters of the club, we want to help the Phoenix show the FFA that they deserve their place in the A-League.

David Gallop, Chief Executive of the the FFA, has listed a number of metrics that the Phoenix need to improve in order to have a continued presence in the A-League. One of these metrics is the number of season memberships that are sold.

The aim of this fundraising effort is to raise money to buy a number of adult+child membership packages (worth $209 each). These will then be donated to organisations around Wellington that have a positive impact on the Wellington community.

We'd like to focus on organisations that have a large base of volunteer workers, to provide a way to say thank you to their volunteers by giving them a day out at a Phoenix match. We believe organisations such as Ronald McDonald House, Wellington Free Ambulance, Canteen and the SPCA fit this criteria, but would love to get ideas for other worthy causes. We won’t strictly limit our campaign to volunteer organisations, so if there are any organisations you believe deserve this opportunity, please send us your ideas via an email to savethenix@yellowfever.co.nz.

Not only will this #SaveTheNix campaign positively contribute to the Wellington community, it will also assist the Phoenix to meet David Gallop’s membership metrics and aid in the Phoenix’s ongoing negotiations with the FFA.

On behalf of all of us at Little Sprouts, thank you so much for this amazing initiative and donating memberships to our volunteers. We are looking to heading along tomorrow night and hopefully getting our shirts off at the 80 minute mark.

We are absolutely delighted to be able to give these to our volunteers who work so hard, all entirely for free, to help babies in real need.

A huge thank you to Yellow Fever and everyone who donated money to give memberships to charities across Wellington.

Cheers and COYN!!!
