Based on that, bit of a stretch to call Adelaide's squad one of the youngest. Kudos to CCM (and ourselves obvs).
Dead right. 8th out of 12 makes them one of the oldest!

Adelaide have some young players who have played matches but not for huge minutes (Mo Toure (18), Bernardo (18), Steven Hall (17), Nestory Irankunda (16)) which distorts the A-League's statistic.

one F Surman with almost 1000 minutes - would have to be close to the youngest player in the league starting 10+ games.

Queenslander 3x a year.

Would be 2nd in minutes aged 18 or under. Josh Rawlins ahead of him, Bernardo just behind him

The chart shows Fenton at his peak, and he should be, at his prime age with truck loads of ALM experience....I feel sad for him this season.

He's definitely had a mixed bag this season, that game that he got a face gash he was pretty immense, but then there was that game where he gave away two penalties...

Here’s the goals from the Waine train and the quote from Niche Cache:

One goal and one assist in 1041 minutes for Old. No dramas in year one but year two needs to tally up. Ben Waine just scored six times in a season that felt like a slight downer for him so next time he should probably be commanding a starting gig. Sam Sutton is another one. Big breakthrough campaign for him so where does he take it from here?
Also any mods with spare time maybe lock that season review thread please - this thread’s the one, right.

You wonder if he can come back. Burned out at the end of the season, but was relied on at points to close the game out.

He must be a model pro to make as many returns from serious setbacks as he has.

Western United, with no fans, no stadium, no identity have made more grand finals in 4 years than Wellington Phoenix have in 15 years. Sad and I hope this changes sometime soon…

The difference between Western United and Wellington Phoenix this season is Prijovic. A 12 goal striker.

Does Western United still have a larger salary cap than the rest of the league?

Given that he's now hung up his boots it must have really got to him.  Sad.  No Nix player ever has epitomised the club more then him.
