Season Tickets - Clusterf**k Edition 2013/14

Yep, Ticketek are all chit if they say theres no other way around it. This is probably the easiest most straight forward way possible.

Has anyone received their season passes yet? I'm itching to get mine so if there is a mistake I've got time to rectify it.

Hopefully this week. Its starting to get a bit too close for comfort.

 according to the ticketek web site they are due third week of september, which is this week. If l;ast season was anything to go buy they'll arrive next week. It really annoys me - the timing thing - they've had my $$$ since 27th of July.

Anyone received their  club membership pack yet?

 

do you need your season pass to get the free ticket for one of the first three matches of the season or can you get the ticket before your pass arrives as they already have the details that you are a season ticket holder

Well, it's Ticketek, so I'm sure it'll be the most complicated process imaginable.

Why don't our owners seriously consider setting up their own ticketing service?

Or is it that the ROF only works with ticketek?

 To get your own ticketing system would be a major cost

I am a bit frustrated, have bought my first membership and havent got the b thing yet

I cant see why they cant do a weekly or 2 weekly mailout

they should have at least sent out something at the end of the reknewal period

Ticketek does all the stadium ticketing.

Ticketek does the stadium and the WCC venues ticketing too.

 Anyone on the inside know when their contract is up for renewal, by any chance?

I can understand the frustration, I'm waiting for my tickets too.
However, to keep costs down its better to send them in large batches. One of the big items is printing of the actual passes, its quite an effort (I understand) to set up the machinery for a run. The company doing our passes will probably be producing credit cards etc and have to fit us in.

I'm sure (famous last words) that well get them in plenty of time.

Remember this years process seems much better than previous with ticketek picking up their game somewhat.

My season ticket arrived by courier today, so did my brothers but not the rest of the group i ordered for, wonder if that is because we foundation members so got an additional benefit? Interesting that it was couriered to us and the package had a big "please obtain signature" but with only the dog at home all day the package was just left on the front door

Any idea how many season tickets have been sold so far??

The club should do a merchandise day for one of the games this year... basically entry to the game is free, however, you must buy atleast 1 item of merchandise to get in, a beanie, shirt or something (but nothing redicously cheap).

The sale of the merchandise helps cover the cost of the ground, plus all of a sudden you get a huge amount of nix gear out into the public domain which can only help to boost the profile of the club and it may get first time viewers into the stadium who will see it, love it and keep coming back.

Just a thought.

Plus booking fee as well which takes the ticket price up to nearly $30. Thats why I bought a season pass at $175. Only need to go to 7 games and I'm winning. Also the convenience of it. Why would you not buy one. Especially for fans living in Wellington.

 Those kid prices are great. Would like to see the adult dropped to $20

The scarf is not the Adidas one I thought it was going to be.

 Yeah.  If you want a decent scarf you'll need to get the new one in at RYOS.  It is, in fact, teh sex (although not Adidas).

Mine is here but a neighbour, also a season pass holder from day 1, did not. I'm sure everyone elses will turn up soon. I have ultimate faith in our ticketing company as I do in our owners, management and players (just like every other year)

Interestingly my PAX is my lucky number.

My season ticket arrived today...with scarf etc etc....like the new foundation member card....however,  wifes season ticket not aririved yet and she's still ticked off that she hasnt been given a foundation member status as it is!!

 So i guess only foundation members have been sent their passes then?

 I am one and still haven't got mine..

..getting a bit worrieeeedddddd....
