Micah's just being a wind-up. Yep, some things I don't like about Qld, but they have developed into a good side, so I can't deny them that much.
 
Yes, season 1 for the Phoenix has been a learning curve, and a lot of hard lessons learnt in the now-established A-league. But I think we're all confident of what we expect the Phoenix will do next season. No reason why the Phoenix won't finish above Qld next season. Then we'll come looking for you Micah. Just ask Melbourne about form.

I have fond memories of Newcastle from before I moved to NZ. The ARL's Knights were my second team after the Illawarra Steelers (way to show my age haha), I've still got friends from there, and I always enjoyed going there on vacation and such.

But you lot have Joel Griffiths so I hope the Jets crash and burn

We put a map of Australia on the wall and threw darts at it while blindfolded to randomly select our rivals.

But after the bartender got sick of having darts hit him in the shoulder, we decided to pick the teams with the biggest jackasses on the roster instead

 Thanks...i never really hated Wellington...tbh i was going for you to be in the top 4...i had my fingers crossed....though if you guys got in then i would not go for you at all if you were playing us

Micah i find this funny as well.
As Jets fans we actively support Wellington, we often go to games involving them in NSW.

I was actually getting on here to see if any of you guys were heading over for the CC game and if i could join you guys for a beer.
 
I'm genuinly surprised, as wellington is 99% of jets fans second team.

Off the top of my head (just my points):

Farina (ex-Manager of our national rivals, way too much history)
Seo (Cheat)
Moore (Thug)
McKay (Smug Thug)
Cruse (Diving, whining gimp.  Joel Griffiths in training)
Tiatto (Thug)
Felipe kicked until injured out of the first match in Queensland.
Elrich sending off from Seo dive in the 2nd match.
McLaren catching the ball in the 3rd match and no penalty (Ben Williams fault more than Queenslands, but still).
Reinaldo faking injury in game 3, Ben Williams (again) stopping a clean Phoenix break because Reinaldo tripped over another Roar player and feigned a head injury - for about 5 minutes.

...and the visits from what appear to be a bunch of 8 year olds in your supporter base on here.

Its almost like the treatment the Warriors got in their first season from the aussie refs, all the kiwi players are bad boys must be cheating, but if an aussie player does the same thing its our fault for getting in the way?????
