Melbourne are toast but Kiwi Pie at least has the Champions League
to look forward to.
Otherwise I mostly agree with you, Cos, except I'd put
Newcastle last. It's all a bit like rearranging deckchairs on the
Titanic now though, isn't it.

the point where they could go top tonight. John Kosmina is
still bonkers though.

But you can stand if the self proclaimed Real Madrid (or was it Man Utd?) of Australia won it? Sydney are much more annoying than QLD. QLD play probably the best football in the comp too. (Seo, Tiatto and Moore are annoying but eh) Kosmina is the only interesting coach in the A-League though - at least he speaks what he thinks.

How about 'financial irregularities' cause the top 4 to lose
20 points each, then we go into a play-off with the other 3 cellar
dwellers. And we come out on top of course, due to a sudden rise in

Yup, put me in the CCM and Sydney camp as well. Although after the
way they've played recently, I think CCM are a bit of a long
shot at the moment. Especially after they lose next weekend!
How anyone could want the team which has had the
Knacker Cracker, Pieman Jardel and Jabba Laybutt in it to win
anything is beyond me!

As much as I hate to say it i'll be supporting Queensland for the
playoffs. I'm living in dirty old Brisbane now and I'd love to
watch the final... even if my beloved Phoenix isn't in it.
I've actually been quite impressed with the way the Roar play
too (apart from the diving and cheating...). They pass it around
more than most teams and play some flowing football, unlike Sydney
who make every game i've watched lately look ugly... even if they
have been winning.

I thought Tiatto was outstanding last night and I had a
chinwag with Stuart McLaren at the airport after their game against
us. Seemed like a nice bloke. Despite that, I hope that both the
Roar and the Jets get royally f**ked.
