well they need 2 do something about the amount of goals they let in. i agree with dodd christie and lochead being good enough and odor has been good 2 and is a player with alot of talent but after them they have no1 descent. hopefully they prove me wrong and we start getting some clean sheets.

There must be some gems playing within the NZ league that would be worth a look.  I'm sure there are the sort of players that are rock solid (especially in defense) and would thrive with an opportunity in a professional environment.
 
What sort've reserve squads do teams have in the a-league? Is it sustainable? It's the sort of thing the Phoenix need to get players regular game time, a chance to impress and to put pressure on the 'regulars'. 
 
For instance, when is Paston going to get a chance in goal?  Moss has been gold in bits but lacks the overall authority needed with our struggling defence.  Take a look at that CCM keeper, he is awesome, and dominates back there!

i thought going into this game it would onli a few games away and paston would be starting but moss had a blinder n deserves 2 b starting

on radiosport 2day they wer talking 2 marc elrick and he said about central defence being the major problem and he said ben sigmund needs 2 b signed.

Dodd and Lochhead are good enough for sure. Christie and O'Dor are iffy. Would prefer us to sign someone there. Ben Sigmunds a good player, would perhaps like to see Clebo next week.

The biggest problem is not the players in defence but their cohesiveness as a unit - this comes with time.

im not being funny, i support glasgow rangers and the phoenix
 
kris boyd who has been top goalscorer in the SPL over the last 2 seasons has went out of favour at ibrox, he is the best striker in scotland and i think he would be perfect for the phoenix. hes only 23 and we would have him for many a season.

Think in one thread or another i have seen nearly the whole team replaced for next season,lets wait and see where we sit at the end of this season which isnt half way there yet.
