Yeah same - both good reads. Soccertalk are using volunteers a lot so some of the writing can be a bit average but at least it's NZ football - more than you'll get in Match - whoevers bright idea that was.


Maybe I was wrong in saying that all British football magazines are no good, but the point I was trying to get across is that Soccertalk is a good magazine.

Yup. I read the plea by Glen in the latest issue and thought I'd get off my ever-expanding arse and do something to help out.
I had actually started to write a book about NZ soccer and one of the chapters I'd written I have revised and submitted. The book is on permanent hold at the moment so I might as well make use of some of the material. I've also agreed to write a monthly column.

With football, the AWs and the Nix doing so well right now has there been any thought about bringing this back somewhere, someho, I used to really enjoy reading this?

And The Jam, hows that book coming along now, you should have some very interesting info for it now.

I am looking to subscirbe to a mag that has a digital version (e.g. in PDF format), maybe that is an idea for him so that people abroad can subscribe without stupid P&P.

Yeah I miss the mag. Still got every edition stored away in a box somewhere, sometimes i'll read the odd one for old times sake, while wondering how it good it would be to read with the all whites doing so well.

Used to be the best day of the month when it arrived in the post.

True PDF format would be cheaper to produce too - cut down on operating costs.
